when I go to like bubble tea shops, I love getting peach flavored green teas or jasmine tea! but whenever I drink tea at home, it's always black tea (mostly earl grey or english breakfast)
I like fruity black teas, matcha, and bubble tea! Unfortunately, there's no really good bubble tea places where I live now, but I used to be a complete addict...
English Breakfast tea is my favourite. But I've once had this flavour of tea that one of my acquaintances brought from Scotland and remembering how delicious it was.
I read the title of the thread and immediately freaked out as I remember that I left my tea kettle on the burner unattended for a couple hours. ;0; Thankfully, it was on a really low setting because I don't know if I would hear it from my bedroom. (Thank you, Izzy Ree!)
I think my favourite tea is this cinnamon & honey concoction my friend made for me a few times before. She can make it so perfectly.
Licorice is up there too, though I am not always in the mood for something so sweet.
so I had a mug of "English breakfast" tea, now followed up by "Irish breakfast" tea, and I'm hard pressed to tell much difference.
also, i discovered that "Jasmine" tea is green tea saturated in jasmine aroma (i thought it was black tea for some reason). i als odid not realize before that tea is either "black" or "green" based upon whether the leaves are permitted to oxidize; i had incorrectly thought they were different tea plant varieties altogether.
I picked up some "Prince of Wales" blend of tea that I'm going to try out today. tried some Earl Grey blend, its good but I cant say the citrusy additions would ever make it my favorite.
I also like most herbal teas and green teas. The best flavour of herbal tea I've ever tried was...I don't remember exactly, but I know it had orange in it.
so far out of everything i've tried, my favorite teas are the Twinings Irish Breakfast blend (with black teas blended from China, India, and Kenya), iced jasmine tea (which i guess is green tea infused with jasmine aromatics), and your basic American "iced tea" (orange pekoe black tea).
