What is your favorite Exterior Architecture Style?

I feel boring, because I really like the mansion style the best, especially if I'm not doing a particular themed town. It looks the most like a house I'd want to live in myself. I think the modern house is ugly, the castle always seems out of place in my town (although that's currently what my house's style is right now because I'm experimenting), and it would feel weird for me to live in a zen house when the rest of my town isn't zen.

I'm kind torn between mansion and castle, I'm a HUGE fan of fantasy so the castle appeals to that however I also like the small rural town look so mansion is my absolute favourite choice. Add the logged exterior look and you've got yourself a lil cabin in a small town.

I like the modern style, which seems to be a bit of an unpopular opinion. I think it can go well though, especially with certain exteriors.

Here's my house in Taiga. I used the exotic exterior, with the modern style.

I guess I prefer the regular mansion for my own houses. I like the look of the castle and the zen castle in the right settings, but even though I could have upgraded my mayor's house to the zen castle, I opted to keep the mansion. I thought the zen castle was just a bit over the top for her. Plus, her house is right next to the Town Hall which I remodeled to the zen exterior. I thought it looked better if the two buildings weren't so similar due to their proximity.

I may use the castle exterior in my 2nd town. I haven't decided yet. I'll just have to see how everything comes together.

The mansion style is my favorite, and I think it matches the style of my town best, as well. I think the castle would be my second favorite, though!

Mansion style def. Thou I am thinking of having the castle for Kasumi's house, and maybe zen for Soren.

Idk, the other exterior remodels I find lacking. Plus we only have 4 options, which I think is very lacking considering we have so many other options of stuff for our house to choose from. For a while back in New Town I had the modern style, cause I wanted a change. It was alright, but I feel only certain exteriors go with it.

i totally agree! the mansion just looks so pretty with any exterior!

Mansion and Castle.

I don't really care for the other two. I mainly only use Mansion, as it doesn't look overly odd with my exterior choices.

i didn't know the mansion style was so popular wow...i guess liking the modern style makes me a minority huh? i think the squareness of it and the little poles on the sides are appealing, but i can see how it would look unpleasant with certain exteriors (like i don't think the sweets exterior would look very good on it).

I thought I would be in the minority with the mansion exterior being my favorite! I feel like for a while, everyone was really into having the castle exterior. But now I kind of feel sad for the modern exterior being the least popular.

The mansion if my favorite, as it goes with just about anything. The modern one would be my second choice, but since I haven't really experimented with exteriors I'm not sure what would look good on it.

I like the basic mansion style, which is what I have in my town, but I think my favorite is actually the zen castle!
