What is your favorite aspect of New Leaf?

My favourite aspect of New Leaf is that I am in position of power. I have the power to create or destroy a building/project. Normal villagers bow to me as a I leave their house. Lame joke aside, I love how free I am ^_^ Like I'm the creator of my town. That's what gives New Leaf to me, the infinite possibilities of what I can do.

Favourite aspect would definitely always be the villagers and the friendship you can develop with them over time. I know that's what the game is based around but there's other things people use the game for such as interior design or landscaping. It's always been my favourite aspect because I remember a time where i'd just have an awful day and once i'd jumped into the world of animal crossing my villagers would make me feel a lot better no matter how awful the day had been. Because of how different the world of animal crossing is to the real world. I love that you can tell when you're building a stronger friendship with a villager because of different dialogue they'd slip in every once a while to imply that you have a strong friendship with them.

I also love when they come to your door on your birthday like omg you came all this way just for me It makes me feel special for whatever reason. It's just such a nice part of the game and I think without villagers animal crossing would truly be boring for me, since there'd be nothing to look forward to.
