I have just been rushing to wash up after dinner because I had arranged to meet 'Puddles' at 4.30pm at my house on new leaf!
What is up with me? I'm a grown woman, married with family! eeekkk lol

lool I know what you mean ^.^, I do the same thing sometimes.

You're not alone lol.

I tend to forget the dates I arrange with my villagers until I'm already 20+ minutes too late. And then I feel genuinely guilty, even though they're not real and don't have "feelings".

Hahahha I think you're not the only one it happens to ^__^ My boyfriend was looking over my shoulder when I was making an appointment with Beau to meet up at 9.30 PM. He was like "Aah, so you have a date. So no attention for me then? Shall we watch a movie after your date?"
He knows I am a gamer, as is he self, and he knows my current addiction to the game =) He can handle it.

Yeah, this. I get sad when I forget. ;~; Also, I literally almost started crying when I reset my town. xD AC does that to you. It gets you attached to your villagers..

Nothing is wrong with you! Even if they are virtual creatures, they have virtual feelings that you could virtually hurt, and I don't know about you but it make me sad when I make my villagers sad. I do my best to make it to my villagers homes when we have a meeting set up too!

Oh man, resetting has always been so hard hahaha. Even since I started playing the series on the GC yeaaaars ago it was hard because they always act so sad when you say you want to demolish the town.

I play ac when I have free time.My house is clean, Kids are well taken care of, I have a full time job, I weed and water my real life gardens every day, dinner is always on the table by 6:30.etc, etc.But when I need to relax, I go to ac.If I talk about the game to my husband, he rolls his eyes.If he wants something, and I say "hang on, I have to catch Vladimir a fish",he gets annoyed. He once pulled me aside and said I was a bad influence on the children. He said I had a problem.LOL.I don't believe there is anything wrong with us ac addicts. It's no different than running to the t.v. to watch your favorite shows, or looking up cars and trucks on the internet for 2 or more hours a day.Which is what my husband does in his free time.So there is nothing wrong with you, and it's ok for adults to play videos games.

I'm the same. Im married and have a daughter - nearly year old and I play when she's sleeping - during the day and evening.
I have to play, I cant miss a day and if I do, I feel really guilty. I love my virtual world, it gives a sense of calm ^_^

Whenever I start developing feelings for my Animal Crossing villagers, I head outside and kick a football around. Accepting the virtual emotions as real is a dangerous line to cross.

I try to suggest meetings at a time when I know I probably won't be busy. 6:00pm-6:30pm usually. Time enough to get home and eat.
