What is the meaning behind your town's name?

Moriyo is japanese for 'forest generation' which I thought was perfect for the town cause it's a nature and magic themed town.

Treehut is suppose to sound like a place that might be featured in a Rune Factory game, plus it serves as a reference to WW.

My next town, Secret, is supposed to be like a little hidden village so it makes sense to me. Plus I like the one word noun/adjective town names.

I don't really have a theme for my town, but I named it Ichi☆, after my dogヾ(?▽`;)

My town's name is Variety, because there are all kinds of villagers out there with different personalities and you can have a variety of landmarks and services there too. I think it's a fitting name for such a town. Not to mention all the different fruit trees and flowers and bushes.

My town is called Willow since I was originally thinking about naming it Willowfield but that was too long a name. Willowfield is the name of my own fictional location so it felt like a pleasant choice to name an Animal Crossing town after it.

I named my town Pumpkin because I love fall and a lot of really good fall time foods is made with pumpkin and I just love pumpkin bread. Plus, it sounded kinda cute for a town name and I just wanted to try a new town name rather than my old one, Oceana. I may use Pumpkin for my town name for now on, especially when the new game comes out next year.

Flowert's my town, there's not really a meaning behind it, just a traditional name I always do.
It's an edit of the town "Petalburg", the Koopa village in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

My town is called Manopla, it means mitten in Spanish and I thought it was a funny name when I first played Wild World.

I usually name my town Cerulean, because it's been part of my name for a long while. But I wanted to name it something cute this time, so I went with Stardew, because stars and sparkly dew is so pretty!

Popstar: Named after the planet Kirby lives on.
Twinleaf: The name of the starting town in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, which is the first Pokemon game I got to play.

I just recently created Gothica. The idea is to make it gothic looking morbid styled like my currently town but more fitting.

blossom - idk i just really like that word, and i think it fits with a dreamy but simple town ?

Padstow: It was going to be lilypad but i decided to switch it up.. just kind of randomly thought that was a cool name :p

Startown - I liked the astronomical theme and it's a pun off of starting something new.

My town names are not very creative. My town?s name is Johto, which is named after my favorite region in Pok?mon.

Aberwood ↬ I'm starting a cozy, forest-y, natural-feeling town and I wanted a name that sounded real and used words relating to nature (aber- meaning an estuary or river mouth) while still being unique.

By the way, I read everyone else's, too! There are some great town names in here, y'all

Bloot was the name my little brother came up with for our original town on game cube. I have 3 siblings...each of us had a house and played every day.

My town will always be Bloot. <3

That's pretty clever! XD
