What is the meanest thing you ever did to someone?

For me, it was theft. I saw a random player on an island trying to give someone items, so as soon as they dropped the items, I swooped in and grabbed most of them, along with this other girl that tried to steal with me but she got the lame items. To be fair, she was chasing the person and screaming "GIVE ME YOUR ITEMS" while I quietly kept my distance and hoped she wouldn't screw it up for me.

I was running on the grass when I was playing with a friend of mine. His town wasn't very developed at all because he's not really into AC and when he was in my town earlier, he ran on and destroyed some flowers. He said he only played the game running.

It wasn't intentional, but when I didn't know how infinite fruit baskets worked, I tried to put the fruit back into the basket and accidentally destroyed it. :'(

Loooool when i was a kid i was obsessed with those ac town destroyers videos and stuff like that and I stole from loads of people's towns, I remember getting all sorts of carnations, the japanese throwing beans and a few 99k bell bags which i shared with friends. Those were the days lmao. I hope they dont take away stealing in the next animal crossing bc im sorry but it was so so so so so funny especially a co-ordinated attack with friends

Back then, I destroyed some flowers in the town of a friend because she told a dumb joke where I got
a bit salty about it. She wasn't mad about it, like she knew the joke was dumb and we both apologized
each other for what we did.

I've done somethin similar with island tours. I was playing with some people who I suspected where kids (I'm sorry not sorry but I don't to not play with kids. 1 I'm older than them and 2 not all but some are immature.) who wanted to go on a tour. I'm not exactly sure how I did it, but once everyone sat down for the tour, a split second later I got off the seat, making to where everyone else went on a tour but me. They all departed for the tour and my character was left on the island.

I honestly feel like that was partially on them for leaving valuable items on the ground and being so trusting lol

Well it kinda is a little but one time I was in a town with paths and the friend had a rule where no running is allowed and their pathway had red pansies and yellow pansies in a pattern next to most of the paths. One time I accidently held "B" for a few seconds by habit but I destroyed a yellow (I think) pansie, I didn't tell anyone I just rushed to my storage locker and grabbed my only pansie in it that was not the correct color and replaced the destroyed pansie. I don't think the person ever noticed the odd pansie (or they simply replaced it )

I've always hated towns that are infested with flowers. It makes me wonder how the owner of the town has the patience to play without running. I just let my villagers place their own flowers with the Keep Town Beautiful ordinance and they do a nice job.

LOL! The Meanest Thing I have probley done are the two as following. I once took a pink cosmos from my friends town that I know IRL even though they said not to. The other mean thing I have done, I like to think was justified. I called some kids Jerks, Annoying, I don't like you on the Island, becuase I was digging holes, and they jsust were covering them up on purpose even though I said Stop.

I?ve never really done anything bad, but I have ignored a lot of people on club tortimer while I was going to collect shells. It seemed to make a lot of them angry that I wasn?t talking to them. I felt kinda bad about people that wanted to talk to me, but I just wanted to collect my shells and get it over with lol. I don?t think I?ve ever done anything worse than that

It was one of my first interactions on Club Tortimer, before I ever played any online with people, so I didn't really know proper etiquette. I was on an island with 2 random people, and we were all following each other around, and I thought it was really funny. So I kept following this person around thinking it was all in good fun. I wasn't even scaring her bugs or fish away so I didn't think I was being rude. Then she went inside and the other person also was following, and suddenly she was like "STOP FOLLOWING ME AROUND" and instead of just stopping, I asked why? Cuz I really didn't understand what I was doing wrong. And then they threatened to block me. I thought we were all just being silly. I didn't know she was getting annoyed. Honestly I still don't know why it was bad, since it didn't really affect her gameplay. I almost never play any game online so I didn't understand. My perspective at the time was, I was having fun and not stealing or ruining her game so it should be okay. Maybe it's just because it was the kind of silliness I would have enjoyed too. But now I don't do anything silly when playing with others that I don't know cuz you never know what might be annoying.

Another example of some silliness I *did* try in New Horizons was when I was wishing on stars in someone's town, someone else arrived, and I would just wave hi to them. Then they would wave. Then I would wave again. Then they would. And we went back and forth. I took a risk XD They could have easily found me annoying, but they enjoyed the silliness too, and it was one of the most fun interactions I've had in any Animal Crossing game. But this time, if they had told me to stop, I would just have stopped instead of questioning it.

Hmm, I can't really think of anything that bad. In fact, before I read through the posts, I was planning to talk about what I did to a villager lol.

Most of my experience with other players has been on Club Tortimer, so...
Guess the worst things I did was talk back to people who were being rude (I didn't start it so I guess it isn't that bad) and also occasionally not say anything or pretend to be afk when people start begging for bells.
