Number of items that you can hang on the wall?

I know that 45 items is the max per room, but need to know what max is on wall.

Probably the number of spaces on your wall. I've never tried though. For an 8x8 room that's 32, assuming each item takes up one space. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Stuff on tables and the walls count towards your furniture limit.

I'd also assume it's 32 but some items can't be hung up above doorways/hallways if they're not high enough so minus 2 spaces for each doorway, depending on the item. Also if the item juts out, you can't put them next to each other in corners. Ex. I tried putting up jellyfish lamps in the corners but it wouldn't let me so I had to leave a space open.

Wall items count. I forgot about a item on the wall and placed perfect fruit in the museum room. It wouldn't let me place the last basket. I had to go back and pick the row of fruit to remove the item. The last basket went in place.
