There is no limit, but some forum threads do not earn you any tbt. I would check out the link I posted, I believe it says specifically which ones.I was wondering about this too!
I've noticed that sometimes after making a lengthy post no bells are added to my account ):
and part of writing such long posts for me is honestly to earn TBT. Maybe it means that I hit my limit?
But then again I'm not sure how the limit works. Is it limited per day, or per forum?
edit: I just noticed that I got added bells after making this post. but earlier when I was writing in my journal, it didn't add bells ):
I actually looked at your link! ^^ it's very helpful thank you! it does say some forums don't give bells, but the journals definitely doThere is no limit, but some forum threads do not earn you any tbt. I would check out the link I posted, I believe it says specifically which ones.![]()
I just think I hit the limit (Vrisnem just said they exist in a post above) because I made 2 posts there (in the same thread) and I got around 10-15 bells from my first post, then my second post gave me 0. But when I post in other threads it does add to my bells!
I thought the max was 10 before the site updated, but I swore I got 13 once from something.@Vrisnem Are you able to tell us the maximum bells that any posting can net someone? I think the max I have gotten from any post is ten, but are there more bells to be earned from posting?
I didn't know editing took bells back! Never noticed I guess. I'll have to be more careful with grammar lol
This is correct! You don't actually lose bells from editing unless you edit the post to be shorter than the original; simply correcting your grammar will only result in a recalculation and the system will credit back the same number of bells post-edit. The same goes if you edit a post to be longer, in which case it'll remove the original bells and award you a higher amount based on how long the new post is.Does it, though? If I look back at the earning history (which you can see here) I can recognise multiple edits, they look like this:
View attachment 289479
Which is basically:
+5 bells for the post itself
-5 bells on the edit
+5 bells again for what the post is worth after the edit (same timestamp)
This would mean that correcting your grammar likely won't change anything. Removing part of the post would lower the amount of bells you get back after the post though, or you could gain more for expanding it. Seems fair to me: this prevents people from posting the entire script to bee movie, then editing the post into their actual short message, while keeping the amount of bells they got from when the post was long.![]()
