What is the first thing you do in your town when you first turn on ACNL for the day?

I always search for fossils. I wake up really early every day (curse of having to wake up early for work), so the museum is typically the only thing open when I'm up. Well, unless I TT. After fossils, I'll speak to any villagers that are awake at 6ish am.

I water my flowers that I use to farm for hybrids, only to be disappointed the next day when yet another day has passed where I haven't gotten a hybrid red rose...

Go through Resetti.

Scan in an amiibo for meow coupons, and complete objectives.

Then I look for weeds, the money rock and ore rock.
Talk to my villagers and deny all requests.

If it's really early, I go to the island and fill the box up, then go back and check the shops out.

Make the characters change from jammies to going out clothes, see what they have in their pockets, then check mail.

I have the routine of running around my whole town to look for fossils and the rock w/ bells, and water flowers I'm breeding while I'm at it. I'll talk to villagers if I run into them too. whatever comes first is just whatever I bump into first out of all that but it's usually rocks

i try to talk to everyone, water my flowers, visit main street to catalog things/keep upgrading those shops, and find my fossils. i?m doing a 1 year challenge town, so i?m always trying to keep up with my dailies ahaha

Talk to the catbros because one of them is usually pinging me right when I leave my house, look for fossils, and curse at my hybrid red roses because they still haven't made a blue rose yet.

Usually, first I check out my mail (if I have any) and then go around the town and talk with my
villagers to see if they need something. After that, I check out the shops and then do all sorts
of things, like working on my house, looking for fossils and so on.
