What is the bell voucher in the Nook Miles "shop"?

It's the top item in the list of the things you can buy with your Nook Miles, but I cannot figure out what it is. I don't want to possibly waste my miles to find out.

Basically you buy it and you get bells when you redeem the voucher! So it's a convert your miles to bells sort of thing.

the bell voucher can be sold for 3k bells, i'm pretty sure they don't have any other use heh.

If you press the more info button (I believe its X?) it says that it's a voucher that redeems/sells for 3000 bells. I've never bought one so I don't know specifically how it works, but it's basically a way to convert your miles into bells

You can sell it at nooks cranny for 3000 bells.

You can also press x on whatever you're highlighting in the "shop" to see more info about it
