Your hard work restoring The Bell Tree on April Fools' Day has paid off! A commemorative Shiny Ditto Easter Egg has now appeared in the Shop for 99 Bells.
If you go up to the Dream Suite and go to the couch in the back, Nintendo will upload a copy of your town as it currently looks and give you a Dream Code. You can share this with others - then they can go to their own Dream Suite, lie on the front couch, input your Dream Address and visit your town. While there, they will see it just as it was when you uploaded it. They can chop down your trees, kill all your flowers, dig up any buried items - but none of this affects your actual town.
Your town will not automatically update, so as you make changes and improve your town you'll need to head back up to the Dream Suite to save your update. You can use it to entertain others or to ask people for ideas to improve your town. And visiting other towns will give you lots of ideas and satisfy that urge to eat ice creams, chop down trees, hit villagers with hammers and run, run, run
