Reply of same again:Bump

So they can bring their thread to the top of the page.

Essentially you "bump" up the thread to bring it back to life

Bumping...
Bumps are something people do with threads that fall back a page or two and they want them to stay alive, but they can't think of anything to post, so they say "bump"
