Lizards, for various reasons:
1. They can sit still, Drake can sit in the same exact place for hours at a time.
2. They can't scratch or bite you, and if they do, it doesn't hurt in the slightest.
3. It's cool to watch them eat, why watch a cat eat boring old cat food, when you can watch a lizard hunt down a tasty cricket, then devour the poor thing in just a few seconds.
4. They are very docile, you can put them on your shoulder, and they'll just hang out there.
5. They are easy to clean up.

Cats would come in second, but Drake has forever changed my mind about the best kind of pet to have.

my friend has a lizard and he says that its excretion comes out as a mixture of piss and crap
