What if New Horizons villagers become available as Amiibo?

I’d get them . I’ve been trying to collect every animal crossing amiibo and amiibo card since they’ve been released. I’m still missing a lot of the welcome amiibos and only three of series four.

I'll probably buy a pack or two and see who I get. But I won't buy an open pack. I have a feeling that more villagers and npcs will get release before they release a new series of amiibos.

i would love to get audie, judy, dom and sherbs amiibos mostly because they all live in my island already but i can never get rid of them bc it would be so hard to find them again. so by getting their amiibos i would feel okay letting them go so i can explore living with other villagers

I put maybe. I had a ton of amiibo cards and figures several years back when TRU had a huge sale on them and I had money to burn. I would love to see new cards made, with all new artwork, and depending on the price I would buy a few or a bunch. As for those new characters in particular, they are cute but I am not really into "dreamies" I like variety, and some that I thought I would love, I ended up not really caring much for and vice versa anyway.

If an amiibo will kill Raymond's demand and price then i'm chill with it plus if Judy was an amiibo I'd want it for her aesthetic. She is very pretty. If I could get past her eyes I'd consider her. But I mean overall I don't need amiibos I just would collect them just to have. I'm already content with the villagers I have. Unless of course, I could get Rosie and Tangy.

Considering that most of the new villagers are popular such as Raymond, Judy, Dom, and Sherb. Will you consider purchasing their Amiibo if it becomes available? (Honestly, Nintendo missed an opportunity to "milk" the franchise even further.)

As for the poll, I want to make it really simple. Feel free to post your comments of why would you consider buying one? And why not?

Here's kinda what I am expecting to see or read. But I am sure you may have better reasons.

• I want them to live in my island, duh! He or she is my dream villager!
• I want to sell them for Bells and other stuff.
• I want to destroy Raymond's market price.

I have the amiibo cards which were released in four series starting in 2015 (timed with “Happy Home Designer”).

I also have the Sanrio cards.

I want “New Horizons” to be followed by new amiibo cards of Cranky elephant Cyd; Snooty bear cub Judy; Lazy goat Sherb; Normal bear Megan; Jock sheep Dom; Peppy werewolf Audie; Smug cat Raymond; and Uchi horse Reneigh.

I think it will happen. But, I also think Nintendo will wait at least several months for manufacturing. COVID–19 is one reason. Another reason is that there will be a further milking of the Mystery Island appeal in “New Horizons.”

I like Dom, Sherb, and Reneigh, so I would buy a couple blind packs at standard price for trading. But Nintendo would never sell just those characters in their own tiny amiibo series because then they would be easy to collect and trade, and card trading relies on a large randomized pool of options to produce sales. And I definitely wouldn’t buy individual cards; can you imagine the eBay prices?

I am not interested in the new villagers, so I might buy them to have the amiibos (gotta catch em all), but otherwise, meh. I do support the new villagers being released as amiibos though.

Maybe, honestly kinda want to find my villagers either through in game circumstances like the campsite and mystery island tours or getting them from people at a cheap in game price. Would probably go to amiibo cards though.

Honestly, I strongly don't believe Nintendo would release New Horizons amiibos even for the money, as they should know how many people would jump to pirating amiibos because of how easy it is which could turn into cheating with they have been really trying to rid of the ACNH community.

TLDR: Nintendo doesn't like pirates = no Amiibos

It would be far better if they sold plushie merchandise though
