What happens when you TT 20 days to move a villager out, move another villager in, and TT back to original time?

I TTed 20 days to kick out Beardo to get Dobie when I saw someone offering him for free. He had a bubble so I told him he could leave! I'm planning on TTing back to July 8th (today). I know this may sound like a very stupid question, but will there be anything major that happened to my island besides weeds? I haven't done this before because I usually don't TT 😅

Nothing will happen! TTing backwards has the same consequences as traveling 1 day forward, so very little weeds will show up. But it's not safe to TT while a villager is moving in/out or if there's an open plot. It can cause house glitches. I would wait for Dobie to be settled in to come back, then you're all good.

Wait til Dobie is completely moved in! And you won't have any changes time traveling backwards, only forwards.

And when they say wait, you can TT forward one day at a time until he‘s in. The most important thing is to load the game on the day Beardo is gone and you see the empty plot. That erases his exterior. I wonder if the July update fixed this....

Nope, sadly it didn’t... my friends was moving in Marina post-update while TTing and glitched the exterior. Luckily we had enough Amiibos between us to fix the issue, but the glitch remains :(
