What happens when I get a villager from someone with the name name as me?

You know how villagers talk about their past mayors when you get them from someone else? So will they still talk about "Mayor Maddy from WhateverVillle" when my name is the same? It's just a bit weird haha

I started a town and decided I hated the map, so I bought a second copy and gave it the same town name and mayor name. Then I transferred everything, including villagers to the new town. The villagers so far have not said anything to me about their past mayor, but they do talk about their old town and town tune. It is kind of odd, but also pretty neat.
