So now that i'm finally done plot resetting my dreamies, I can finally play the game! I took a look at the badge list recently and was curious if many people have acquired gold badges. Some of them seem close to impossible to obtain. Currently... I have 0 gold badges, but i'll work on that.

I'm just dreading the island. I know it's more fun to do with friends, but is it faster? (And I loved the Fitzgerald books, if that is what your name refers to.)

Yes, The Fitzgerald books were my favorite growing up.I still like to read them now and then.

I found that going to the island was a lot faster when trying for the gold bug and fish( the one where you have to catch a certain amount) The island medal one took me forever.I got so tired of playing island games.I think playing with friends would make that one more enjoyable.

I have... the 3 gold fish/bug/diving collection badges, golden bell badge, gold turnip badge, gold shopping badge, gold HHA badge and the gold playtime badge. But I'm close to getting some other gold badges c:

I have all of them except the streetpass one, I have the silver. I don't think I'll EVER EVER EVER get that last gold badge, which is really annoying, because I'm an all or nothing person, and even though I worked my butt off to get all the others, I feel like I can't be completely satisfied until I have that last gold badge.

I realized this was insane when I considered buying another console and another game, JUST so I could SP with myself. lol Thank goodness I snapped out of that one.

But it does bug me, TBH.

I got most of the gold badges that don't require a lot of effort just through playing the game too much, still working on Dreamer badge and Diver badge (who is gonna dive that much, seriously .-.)
I have gold for fishing, bug catching, cataloguing, shopping, HHA score, weeds, balloon hunting, letter writing, gardening, island medals, refurbishing, villager requests, and for playing 500 hours or whatever lol I don't think I'll ever get the streetpass one or the turnip one though so I don't know why I bother
