What games do you want to see for the virtual console?

oh paper mario thousand year door seems cool too
and mario sunshine as you said .. never got to play those as i didnt have a gamecube

Ahem. I'd like to repurchase my entire childhood, pls.

NES
  1. Adventures of Lolo 2 and 3. They have the first on the NES VC, I want to see 2 and 3 get added as well. Mostly 3, it was my favorite
  2. Solstice
  3. The Guardian Legend
  4. Whomp 'Em
  5. Kid Klown in Night Mayor World
  6. Paperboy

SNES
  1. Primal Rage
  2. Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars
  3. Zombies Ate My Neighbors
  4. Chrono Trigger

N64
  1. Mario Party 1, 2, and 3
  2. Bomberman Hero
  3. LoZ: Majora's Mask
  4. Star Fox 64
  5. Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie (Conker's Bad Fur Day, too, but it's never gonna happen)
  6. Diddy Kong Racing
  7. Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2
  8. Pokemon Snap
  9. Hey you, Pikachu
  10. Yoshi's Story

And even though I have a functioning Gamecube, I'd love to see them add VC games for that, too, both for games I never finished before a beloved family member stole them from me ;-;, and for a digital replacement for my own physical games that are starting to see some wear and tear from years of use:

  1. Lost Kingdoms 1 & 2
  2. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
  3. Skies of Arcadia: Legends
  4. SSB Melee
  5. Star Fox Adventures
  6. Star Fox Assault
  7. Luigi's Mansion
  8. LoZ: Four Swords Adventure
  9. Spyro: A Hero's Tail
  10. Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly

I'd love to see GameCube games that I missed out on and can't play on my Wii U.
Specifically, the following:
-Pokemon Colosseum: I loved playing through this and really want to do so again. I can imagine though that it would be difficult or impossible to transfer Pokemon to GBA games - one of the best features of this game - and that's quite saddening.
-Super Mario Sunshine: I love the 3D platforming genre and have heard a lot of praise for Super Mario Sunshine. Unfortunately I haven't ever played it so I would love to do so.
-Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure - I've never played this game but oh wow does it look perfect. A small robot going around a house and fixing problems. The charging mechanic looks to be really fun too! I love the 3D free to roam overworld style and really want to play this game. There is a 3DS Chibi-Robo game coming this year but that's a 2D platformer and doesn't look like it has any of the charm the GameCube game has. I just really want this. <3
-Mario Kart: Double Dash - this Mario Kart games looks really different by having two players in a kart and seems to be really interesting. That's what makes me really want this Mario Kart game instead of just wanting the latest one.

Honest question: does it take muh work to port a game from an old system to a newer one? Why has Nintendo been so slow about this? I would love to see all previously released games available on the VC.

I would love to see some of the older Pokemon games released on the VC. I know it can be done. :)

I don't know about games that have never been on virtual console, but for the games that came from Wii, my guesses are the different firmware and that they also have to upscale them into 1080p for Wii U since practically everyone uses the HDMI cable that comes with their Wii U.

Id like to see Samsh Bros 64, as I never really got to play that game. I would like to, though!

Iwata said at some point that if they were to port more Virtual Console games to our modern Nintendo consoles, it would compromise the company (e.g. lesser retail games), so there must be a lot of work going on getting as many retro games as they possibly can. It's just that they spread out games on a weekly basis until a certain date was reached or so.
