What fish/bugs would you add to the next AC game?

Just watched an animal documentary and discovered some freaky **** I never knew existed. Like a mudskipper. Wtf is a mudskipper? Some weird fish that crawl in the mud apparently. Look at this damn thing:

Anyway so it got me thinking about all the creatures you can catch in the game. There's quite a variety already, but what other fish/bugs would you like added to Animal Crossing?

me watching nature documentaries haha. i've been doing ocean ones lately and i agree. think more kinds of deep sea fish like the dumbo jellyfish or river dolphins, just cool, kinda out there fish would be cool. especially more with bioluminescence *U*

How about a Pyrrhocoridae. And a tick. (You pass out if they get near you.)

Totally agree with all this, especially the bioluminescence. And jellyfish are the ****, I love watching them.

Had to google the first thing you listed lol. VERY. COOL. I'd like that in the game. Tick's are savage btw, I had one try to burrow inside my ear lobe when I was nine. Those nasty little ****s.

I worked on several fan games for AC (never finished sadly) and composing the bug/fish list was always the most fun part. My recent one was a list of 120 fish and bugs each, most of which were new. I aimed for Japanese or Asian species in particular because most of those in the game area already referenced that part of the world.

Yukimushi is a good one though! I forgot about him. Prociphilus oriens is the scientific name. Trying to gather late fall/winter insects was the toughest part and that would be a perfect October-November critter.
