We all have only so much time on our hands. Which dream islands will you be visiting most often?
The popular ones you've seen on YT? Dream islands of your favourite custom pattern artists? Islands with themes similar to yours for inspiration? Or islands with themes completely unlike yours, for a refreshing change? Do you particularly like only certain types of island: horror, European, Asian, rural, city, historical, holiday, magical, etc?
I didn't really use the Dream Suite feature in ACNL and don't have any intentions of making use of it in ACNH either. Glad it's back for those who enjoy it but I'm just not interested in visiting islands this way.
I just travelled to Aika’s! I want to explore story or horror islands but inspo island are good too. I can visit yours if you like! I personally have a more naturally themed island, but all themes are good
I want to visit my friends (although, it isn't much fun if they're not running around too) and some islands that are different than mine. I don't see myself getting a lot of use out of this feature, but it will be a fun novelty for a week or two!
I'm excited to visit some islands of forum members too! They're bound to be great with all the trading we do, right?
All of the above! I want to know: how do my favorite pattern artists design their own island? How does that one member of the Belltree forum use hybrids around their islander homes? How do Korea inspired islands differ when made by a Korean player and not a US player? Are cottagecore islands more fun to wander around in than they are to look at? And I want to study the microvariations that distinguish each player’s interpretation of a popular aesthetic!
I'll probably just visit friends' islands and some random stranger islands for a feedback exchange. Maybe some of the more popular islands but probably only when I'm bored.
I'll probably bop around people here. I'm not interested in the YT showboat islands. I'd rather see ones that are actually in use for playing, if that makes sense.
I visit islands (thru Dream Suite) only for creative inspiration. If an island has a theme I like I will visit it to get good ideas. I visited popular ones in NL like Aika vilage but I realised that even though they were fun for others it wasn't really for me.
Definitely very excited to visit some of my friends once they finish their islands and let me access their dream code. I also love this feature since it means I can actually visit friends with different time zones to me that I usually am unable to catch at a good time, so hopefully I can see what some of them are like in the near future. In terms of visiting random dream codes and what not, I will probably be doing my fair share of dream hopping, since i'm always in need of some inspiration for my island, and just love to see other people's beautiful islands in general. I've never actually even been to a 5 star island before, or at least not walked around one properly, so it'll be interesting to see what they look like, and how packed with decoration they are. I think i'll mainly be focusing on big terraforming islands and spooky themes/areas, since that's mainly what i'm looking to build right now on my island, and while I have a few ideas I'd love to see ways to add to them or make them better.
I never really got to use the dream suite feature in ACNL so it’s something new for me. I just visited my first dream island today posted by a popular Japanese ACNH twitter user one with a really complicated looking map (but aesthetically pleasing!) and it was just okay.
Don’t really think I’ll be using dream suite much the experience wasn’t really anything special? Or I guess it was too hyped up for me.
Would really love to visit more horror themed islands though! Maybe cottagecore/fairycore ones too but then again those tend to just blend in together ;; I think amusement park themed ones would be fun too, I guess though there’s really nothing to do.
Just wish there were more furniture that we could interact with added in the future. I think that’d make dream suite more fun? idk haha ;;
I will probably go for the popular ones since I would assume they are mostly well designed. But I also think I'd be most interested in ones with unique themes that are not really seen very much
I’d visit random islands, but that feature isn’t here so i don’t know who to visit. I’d also like to visit islands with villagers who aren’t as popular cuz I see too many islands with popular villagers and that’s boring.
people i know, some popular islands out of curiosity but mainly i'd just wanna visit ones with similar theme as mine. there's only so many cottagecore i can visit because i feel overwhelmed. i feel like visiting other themes would somehow influence me to be inspire and idk idk.
