What DON'T you like seeing in DA's?

I've been visiting a lot of tumblr towns and this is going to be a small rant.
I, for one, hate seeing cherry blossom season.
In the right town, it's glorious! But too many (popular) towns seem to use it as a crutch.
QR overload, a few qrs to accent your landscaping is great, but I'm always more impressed with cool, real landscaping then picture on the ground.
HACKED, Oh, look, trees in the river. oh. flippin. wow. and christmas trees on the beach. good for you. and most popular towns are the popular ones! I think there's creative hacking, that makes the town cool and then there's " hack just because"
The Oasis, everything, houses, stores, pwps and such in one corner and everything else is empty.
What do you hate to see?

One thing I hate is when people go overboard with trees and bushes, making their towns hard to navigate. I've visited so many dream towns that are practically mazes. Everywhere you turn you run into a tree or a bush. Paths that lead to no where, or paths so narrow and covered by trees that you can't see where you're going or how to get out. It's very frustrating, and I don't like visiting towns like this because I'm so focused on finding my way around that I can't enjoy the rest of the town. Plus with everything so packed together it makes things look cluttered in my opinion.

I really don't like narrow paths as they're difficult to walk on. Towns blanketed in flowers; there's got to be others things to do with your town other than to throw flowers everywhere.

what i really do hate is the lack of originality. seeing the same forest or cherry blossom town gets boring. when something unique comes up, then i'll be interested, but while the average tumblr dream address is one of those then i don't bother going to it

A pet peeve of mine is visiting towns in which it's hard to get around. Like if they have real long rows of bushes, and then other obstacles (trees, stumps, or whatever) that don't let you cut through. So unless you have a shovel and want to keep digging out bushes/stumps, you have to walk wayyyyy out of the way. I've seen a number of towns that were very beautiful, but they were such a pain to navigate that it ruined the experience. Have lots of pitfalls is also a pain.

I also don't like seeing obviously hacked things. Flowers in the river, overlapping PWPs, etc. I'd rather see creative towns that work within the limitations of the game than just randomly sticking things where they can't normally go.

YES. This gives me so much anxiety when I feel like stuck in a town bc of all the clutter.

my biggest peeve is when people actually don't do anything to their town, lol. i go to random ones a lot and if i see a default setting with nothing put into it i leave straight away

Bugs spawn on qr paths just the same.


I am not a fan of overly hacked towns. With a ridiculous amount of trees and stuff you can't even navigate through it. I usually like to at least head to the edge of the cliff or river if I'm lost and since they often put trees along the edges I have a hard time navigating. Some hacked towns have been nicely done though. I also don't like when the clothes are wrapped. I want to just look at what I want to wear and put it on right away lol.

I don't mind towns with QR codes (a lot of my favourite towns are the ones with really intricate QR patterns covering everything lol), but I really hate it when the QR code doesn't match the season...eg if someone is using cobblestones with green grass and they update in autumn. It really annoys me >.<

Overly pathed perfect towns.. Y'know I wanna pull weeds and like walk on the ground kthx.

Also I hate those full of trees where you can't walk.

I also don't like over crowded towns. They stress me out. I once got stuck in a mess of bushes and trees and it took me forever to get out.

I dont like paths in the beach. I Also dont like colorful flowers on the beach. White is acceptable. Or seashells on areas other than the beach. All this looks weird to me. I Also dont like all types of flower colors scattered with no pattern. I dont mind the town having all the flower types....but i do like to see them arranged in some sort of Way.

Ahhh i like seeing houses with an overall theme. I hate entering and seeing a house with the ice set in one room, and lovely on one Room, and creepy on another. I Also dont like rooms where they use the whole set with wallpaper and flooring without mix and Matching.
