What Does Your Gaming Backlog Look Like?

still need to finish the witcher 3, devil may cry 3, and xenoblade chronicles 2. I have all this time due to quarantine but I'm so lazy to touch them specially with the xenoblade chronicles definitive edition coming out and pokemon dlc that I don't wanna bother with unfinished games.

I wanted to play Sekiro last year and now I want to play Bannerlord but I haven't been able to download anything for years bc I don't have real internet so I'll probably never get around to either of those until I'm like 60. (y)

About six months ago, my brother gifted me his old PS4. We've played a bit of Destiny 2 together, and I took my fianc? through the land of Skyrim, web-slung through the Manhattan in Spider-Man, defeated the beasts from Shadow of the Colossus, but mostly I use it to play MLB: the Show or watch Netflix.

I have a big stack of games that he sent and recommended, including the following:
Witcher 3
Bloodborne
The Last of Us
Batman: Arkham Knight

Despite having them for half a year at this point, I haven't even started any of them. What games do you have that you haven't given fair due to just yet, and what order should I tackle my backlog?
I need to finish playing Rhythm Thief! Also, a family member gave me their old DS games which I want to play sometime.

Have a decent sized backlog on steam. This is the list of them, in no particular order...
Fallout 2, Fallout 4, Dark Souls 3, Metro 2033 Redux, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, Portal, Portal 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Sid Meier's Civilization VI, Temtem, Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider 1, Celeste.

I'm probably going to play either Bannerlord or RDR 2 next, and half of those listed above I have played through a bit of and then got distracted. Those are the ones i'm dreading the most, but some of them are also very good so hopefully I will get back to finish them sometime in the near~ future.

I don't currently have a backlog since quarantine cleared it entirely. Gonna be WFH until 2021 as well so gonna have ample free time lol...

My backlog was never too bad in the past...because, it was limited to stuff that I actually bought for myself, or wanted as gifts. And I generally just played through most of it in a timely manner. But, all that went out the window with stuff like PSN and Xbox Gold, Game Pass, etc. My backlog is literally hundreds of games now. It's not a bad thing...but, I do always feel overwhelmed when trying to decided which new game I should start. It used to be as easy as saying "this is the game that I have, so I'll play it". But those days are gone. Now it's "these are the games I have"...sit there are scroll through hundreds of them...can't pick one...turn off console and do something else. Lol.

Right now it's really bad... Games I bought and have not beaten or games I have not played much of yet:

- Witcher 3 (not beaten)
- Persona Dancing All Night Series (played a bit of P4 and P5 Dancing games)
- My Hero's One Justice 2 (played a bit of it)
- Assassin's Creed Syndicate (got for Christmas one year, never played)
- Ring Fit Adventure (not even opened)
- Soul Calibur 6 (played for a decent amount of time, but not nearly as much as I want to)
- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (not beaten)
- Dragonball Xenoverse 2 (barely touched)
- Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (barely played)
- VA-11 Hall-A (played for a bit)
- Horizon Zero Dawn (couple hours of playtime into it)
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (played a little bit)

I'm sure there's a lot more... Most of these are from the top of my head. I'm very behind on games lately and need to catch up.

The ones that I probably will end up actually playing:

  • Half-Life: Alyx
  • Beyond: Two Souls
  • Bioshock: Remastered (I have completed the originals but I just love Bioshock and want to replay it)
  • Celeste
  • Detroit: Become Human <- This one is probably next on the list
  • Dishonored (Never finished it)
  • Fallout (several of them)
  • Half-Life (multiple too)
  • Heavy Rain
  • The Witcher 3
Man, these are good games... I need to start catching up

At this point there's a few games I dropped because I just lost interest, but I'm starting to not care about my backlog. It used to be a pride thing I guess, I felt bad for not finishing everything, but now if a game loses my interest I just move on to something I enjoy more.

I am returning to Witcher III, which I barely touched, however

Working on Kirby Star Allies and Animal Crossing and all my other switch games (Super Mario Odyssey, Luigi's Mansion 3, Splatoon 2, Sonic Forces) are on the back burner for now. Not to mention all of my ds games and the switch games I've still yet to get.

Currently nothing, although I got an xbox one last month and I have a huge laundry list of games I want to buy on it. Most of them are on gamepass so I'll probably get that for a month or 2 at some point, but I want to go through the games that aren't offered on it first.
