Hi,
I have been contemplating a few town names for my new Animal Crossing town that I will be starting soon, and I came across the name of "Mokuzai." I heard it means "wood" in Japanese; is that correct? Also, what is your opinion on the name? I'm not sure if there's something I would like better, so I want to hear everyone's opinions.
Another thing to add: does anyone know how to pronounce mokuzai? I tried looking it up with, unfortunately, no accurate response. :(
Thank you! I appreciate all of the replies! :)

i know very little japanese, but yeah, mokuzai is wood/lumber as far as i remember

it's a cute name! other nice options are maybe hayashi or mori, that means woods/forest
i might be wrong with hayashi but i'm pretty sure it means "woods" haha

Thank you, maarowak! I'm glad you like it. c: It's a little different for me since I never use Japanese or other names other than English, so I think it's a nice change! :)

I thought of using Mori to my own village, but Sogno is my forever favourite when it comes to Animal Crossing, haha.
Good luck with your new village, I hope you can find the perfect name and have tons of fun!~

I named mine "Treetown" (yeah I know, real imaginative) so ours are kind of alike! XD
