What do your villagers wear?

I have seen some people make custom designs for their villagers to wear do you guys make anything for them or do you let them wear what they want?

I don't make custom designs for my villagers to wear, but I guess I let them wear what they want by villager conversations. I do give their original shirt back by sending a letter to them sometimes, but I cant take the risk that they might put it in their house.

I have a whole bunch of shirt designs all set up in the able sisters store. I made hello kitty shirts, Starmie shirts, and other pro designs since I hate the original designs they give you. Ugh duck shirt was a nightmare that plagued the whole town for a month.

Some wear my designs and some wear the game's clothes. My villagers like to trade clothes though so they wear what they want the majority of the time. If it fits their design, I'll let them wear it like Cousteau has a no. 1 shirt since he's a jock and Elvis has a detective shirt on which fits his coloring.

I've made a load of sad, ugly clothes while trying to figure out if I could make nice, pretty ones (spoiler: I can't! lol - and I'm so mad I can't put QR designs on the mannequins for them, don't even get me started). I've settled for stripey tunics in whatever colors I like, so at least if they do wind up wearing one of the custom designs as opposed to an actual in-game shirt, they won't be wandering around with that damn duck on. I hate that duck.

Mine all had their original shirts until Cheri stirred the pot... one day I turned it on and both Hippeaux and Kid Cat were wearing her NEON sunflower tee -.- Ugggh.

Bluebear's wearing a custom design which I don't mind, it looks cute on her.

I find it so cute that Fang and Ken live right next to each other and they have on the same shirt I can't remember the name of the shirt, though.

Stitches has on the blue flannel shirt and it's super adorable. Sly has on the frog shirt, and since his eyes are kind of positioned like the frogs eyes, it looks pretty cute on him.

Whitney still has her original shirt, Joey has on a shirt I made, Merengue has the mummy shirt, while Ankha has on something else, and Pekoe has a shirt from the stock Able Sisters designs. Then Mira has on the cow print shirt from Gracie that I sent her.

On my town Zucker sterted a trend and everyone is wearing his original shirt. I don't even know where they go it from.

I bought Bob from someone awhile ago… now he infected a lot of my villagers with that repulsive cherry shirt.

I let my villagers wear what they want as long as it doesn't look ugly on them.As can be seen above,the denim vest is making the rounds in one of my towns.Heh....they look like some bikers going on a double date.

Beau has this adorable plaid shirt and I want him to wear it forever though. Some of my villagers are finally changing from the duck shirt though, thank god.

I generally let my villagers wear whatever, so long as it's not the Anytown duck tank or shirt.

I gave Aurora an aurora shirt when I first started the game and she's been wearing it since. She looks really cute in it! A few days ago she recommended it to Static, I think he looks even cuter in it too! Blanche is wearing a pink parka and recommended it to Limberg... Well, he looks comfortable in it. I gave Tangy a kiwi shirt and I think it's perfect for her! Sheldon's wearing that Anytown orange shirt, it doesn't look bad. Fuchsia's still in her original clothes. Mira's wearing a racing shirt (red with sponsors' logos all over it like what NASCAR racers wear), I'm trying to get rid of it... And Pietro's wearing some white thing with green squiggles that just looks horrendous as a scarf, like he's wrapped some three-year-old's drawing around his neck. I... guess it suits him.

my villagers are wearing their original outfits and hopefully the will for a while. i replaced all the patterns in able sisters with hats and umbrellas so they can't wear those at least muwahahaha!

They're all either wearing the original clothes patterns found in Ables or they're wearing the rainbow shirt from Tipper.

In Honeymoo it's just a mixture of Able Sisters stuff usually, a couple are wearing my town's logo sweater.
In Peachia 7/10 are wearing 'Surf Club' sweaters I designed to be kind of a staple of my town. It's really nice how they've all caught onto the trend. There's 4 different colors, and surprisingly, most of them actually coordinate with their fur colors, now just if Flora and Midge could catch onto the trend and Big Top can just plain move out. Flora is wearing some sort of hot pink shirt with a floral design on it, and Midge is wearing this hideous brown 8 ball shirt, she looks like a frat boy.

awhile ago i created some really cute sweaters for my villagers, and now most of them are wearing it! they all look so cute, esp. poppy and molly, but it's kinda misplaced considering it's almost spring haha, i'll probably change it to cute summer fruit designs soon!

Everyone in my town is wearing my Metroid design I made the day the game came out.
I might start sending people some shirts, it looks like everyone is possessed by Metroids now...
