I wanted to know because I plan on replacing their walls and floor. do they not accept it, or do they take it or do nothing? do they use it, or use it once in a while?
What do your villagers do if gifted Wallpaper or flooring?

this sucks. I want Static, and his interior is a punk rock looking one, and I kinda want to steer away from that...unfortunately they don't use it
i tried changing fauna's and she didn't put it up

for me, as long as the exterior matches my island theme i just ignore the interior ☆

i'm pretty sure the only way to change walls and floors are with hacks, just like in new leaf unfortunately
I really hope Nintendo does an Update on that, because it sucks that we only can change some stuff around their house. No Wallpaper, No Floor and I’m sure you can’t even gift them stuff to put on their wall. It’s super limited.
They haven't changed their walls or flooring any any AC game. That's because it is part of their set theme. It would be nice to change up starter villagers homes though since they are a farcry what their defaults are.
