What do you..

For some reason I thought of that commercial with Bear Spice and Timber ovo

Though men with muscles who wear pink are hella manly
Also motorcycles boost the effect

I think being able to be yourself and stuff what others think.

As in, a real man can cuddle kittens and bunnies (if he wants to) because he is so confident in his manliness, he doesn't need to put on an act or prove anything to fake people.

Um... well, I guess not being feminine for starters? But if you ask what feminism means... it's the opposite of manliness, so I don't really know.

Being a guy? I guess being a stereotypical guy is what I define manliness as. It's hard to explain.
I think it's just one of those things, some guys will be "more manly" than others naturally, and it's just a thing you can't really explain.

That's hard for me to answer because I'm 100% oblivious to gender norms, and growing up I was surrounded by people and living in an area where people believed men should act "like men". To this day I don't know for sure what that means. If I had to guess it just means you've got a lot of muscles, a lot of facial hair, and maybe kiss a lot of girls. I don't know. I don't care.

Manliness is subjective. To me, a guy is a man if he can take care of himself, not be a pushover, and handle his own business. It has nothing to do with how you look or act. A lanky guy can be just as much a man as some buff douche.

Longer post to elaborate

Are you a dude who's society's cookie cutout of a man who likes sports and the colour blue? You're manly. Are you a guy who has long flowy pink hair down to your butt, wears lacy skirts with crop tops and 6 inch heels? Manly. Can you lift 200lbs above your head? Manly. Can barely lift 40 as is? Still manly. A doctor? Manly. A dancer? Manly. Make all the money in the house? Manly. Stay-at-home dad who plays tea party with his daughter? Manly. Muscles for days? Manly. Got some chub? Manly. So skinny you could probably blow away in the wind? Manly. D cups and heart shaped thighs? Manly. Rock star? Manly. Pop star? Manly. Like guys? Manly. Like girls? Manly. Like guys and girls and everyone in between? Manly. Got everything figured out? Manly. Got nothing figured out? Manly.

Are you a guy who does you and only you? You're manly.

In my opinion, the "manliest" thing someone can do is to take responsibility for stuff. Being aggressive with other people because you have issues and don't know how to deal with them is not manly. Abusing a girl or punching someone is the face isn't manly, it's cowardly and shows that you're not tough enough to take s*** without acting like an animal. It takes balls to say that something is your fault or to acknowledge that you suck at something and you need to get better. A real man fixes stuff instead of breaking stuff.

Person A identifies as a man or as a masculine person.
Person A is therefore a man.

Simple as that.

I don't even know what "manliness" is, like if you consider yourself a man you're a man. I mean, "muscular" "tough" "insensitive" "aggressive" are all very different things that aren't really manly but many people consider that what "manly" is...

What do you define as "manliness"? xD

A man, is not manly by default.
A scrawny male nerd, is not manly. A feminine man, is not manly.

To be called manly, or masculine. You have to be a strong individual, who has physical prowess. Who knows how to work with your muscles, and how to be up-standing even in tough situations. You don't cry easily, you need to be able to handle a lot. How to be romantic too. You need to be able to handle a woman with care, but also with roughness.

When it comes to handling being a man, it is hard, since men do not open up about our emotions as much as women do, we tend to be inward. You might get depressed as it takes a lot being manly. We don't share much, when it comes to our very personal "man" problems.

Many take into consideration the hair on your chest or face. But that part does not really matter that much, but it certainly adds to the manliness, as it is a turn-on amongst many women, I've heard.

Manliness is not awarded just because you are a man, or identify as a man. It has to be worked for. Women can also be manly, it just takes more for them, since they naturely have less testosterone.

Thank you.

Signed ~ A man working to become manly.

To be able to crush another mans head between your thighs like sparrows egg.

I assume it means you'll treat her like a princess 95% of the time but when it comes to the bedroom you make sure she can't walk in the morning.

A man for me is an individual who can take on responsibilities for himself and others.

step one: identify as a man
step 2: ur done congratulations

im so ****ing tired of the guys in my class calling each other unmanly or girly. it's sexist, transphobic, gender stereotypical and makes me want 2 throw something gross in their faces :^P
