What do you wifi for?

Both for socialising and trades/giveaways. And I also like using the dream suite to check out the towns of users on here.

One of my most enjoyable wi-fi experiences in NL so far has been simply visiting a friend's town for half an hour with nothing specific in mind. It was planned though - I don't like to just wander into people's towns uninvited. ^^;

I've only used wifi for trade 3-5 times. I wifi for hanging out almost every time I get on New Leaf! The train station thread is such a great place to go, you meet a lot of kind people on there who aren't always obsessed with selling dreamies for millions of bells or buying the sloppy set
I think the reason we see that in new leaf is because a lot of people mostly do one or the other. Either obsessed with collecting or obsessed with socializing(i probably fall into this one ) so you need to look in the place that applies to you Seriously, actually made really good friends with the people I met on here

I don't tend to trade villagers or items; I don't time travel (apart from when I need to quickly sell something in Re-Tail and it's closed! ) and I like build up my catalogue on my own because I just find it more satisfying

I only have 1 friend irl who has New Leaf, so we wifi to hangout and check each others shops etc. I wish I had more people to hangout with on wifi though, but after bad experiences in online communities for so many other games I'm often too anxious to go ahead and ask people if they want to wifi :< I guess I should check out the Train Station thread more often after hearing BlooShroom's story though !

I use wi-fi to trade mostly. I only hang out with my real-life neighbour since she's a good friend and has the game too, but otherwise, I play by myself. That's mainly because the chat-function in AC is really bad in my opinion and it's annoying me.

To be honest... if I want to socialise I do it in real life. So that's why I don't really just 'hang out' with people in a game - I find it awkward That's just how I am though, I know other people love socialising on AC and have nothing against it

Most of the time, I Wi-Fi people to hang out and have fun.

But I sometimes do it for villagers. I notice how they don't talk to me after the giveaway is done so I just remove them from my friends list.

A majority of the time I use it to play with FRIENDS. However, amongst the members here, it's mostly just trades.

I wifi to play with my aunt, who doesn't live near me, and the occasional visit to Club Tortimer/various dream towns

It's a bit hard to socialize over wifi without a voice chat function, since I'm so used to that from playing other online games. And the chat function is a pain to use, it takes me so long just to simply type "hi" or "thanks".

The two RL friends I have who play ACNL haven't gotten very far in it and aren't that interested in playing, though I did recently convince my bf to buy it, and he seems to like it so far. (Ankha in his first starting town really helped too, I think)
