What do you think the toughest food business is?

I think it's the bakery business, since you have to make fresh product half a day, everyday, and have to throw out the unsold product.

I'd have to go with you on this.

A job in a bakery does look pretty difficult if you don't know what you're doing.

I work at Subway, and lemme tell ya, it's tougher than you'd think.... Not only is it a Subway, but it's a Subway in a WalMart, in the middle of nowhere. We get some reeeaaally interesting characters that show up.

I think the fast food business in general is a pretty crappy business to work in. :p

The meat industry, you know how much disinfecting, cleaning, and de-fatting (is that even a word? Lolno.) they have to do?

And the FDA is watching them like a hawk, with all their past scandals and all.

I'd have to agree, especially if it's a holiday. You get massive lines and angry people during those days.

The work itself is incredibly simple, it's the customers... I'd take a job just preparing food or something like that over actually serving it to people any day. But then again, I guess this is a case of "The grass is always greener...", eh?

The cereal industry.
They call eachother on a daily basis arguing who has the better mascot. Kelloggs and General Mills had a huge fight that drew the attention of the police once.

Do independent farming businesses count? I would have to go with that.

I would have to agree with you Aaron, Bakery's/doughnut shops have to make new food everyday.

Yeah I agree.

For me, it would be getting up so *censored.3.0*ing early to bake the bread for the shops. D:

I would say it's a toss up between bakeries and fast food. Bakeries knowing about how much to make every day to keep your waste level down and fast food a little bit of watching the waste to yes but yeah you can meet some curious people out there haveing use to work at mcds i met my share.
