What do you think of Luna?

She's okay. I like that they chose an animal that fits the role, design-wise and concept-wise. They could've chosen a sheep or something else fluffy to go with the dream concept but I'm glad they didn't.

she's cute, i love her hair and makeup. i hadn't rlly noticed her body until i read the replies lol.

I think she looks and sounds very elegant. I also like the concept behind her with being a dream-eater and all, like Hypno and Drowzee.

I love her! She has a great design, and I like the comparisons to Hypno in Pokémon. I do miss her little quaint dream suite building, had such cosy vibes along with the gyroid humidifier.

I actually really like Luna! I’ve been reading others say she’s based off Japanese folklore/myth and that just makes it all the better. The whole dream sequence is actually so much more beautiful than I could have imagined it from New Leaf, so I have no complaints.

On another note... how Nintendo gonna tease us AGAIN with that gyroid humidifier?? I frickin want oneeeee. 😭

I literally yelled “ew!” when I saw her. Idk man she’s hideous. I think the anteater villagers are ugly in general though. What really gets me is that they gave her breasts. Like why?
I think what bothers me about Luna is how human-shaped she is. She has the body of a woman, not a tapir or baku. 😱 Why is she the only NPC or female character in general that has human anatomy? 😰
I didn't write it on the original post but that's actually what bugs me about her, the breasts pop a bit too much when I look at her lmao

But i agree like someone above said that not everybody has to be cute, she does have the spa worker/masseuse vibe... That's why i don't dislike her, just not fond of the design

I mean, she's a Baku, which is basically a Tapir, and Tapirs are not typically known for being adorable animals. But I still find her cute, and she has an otherwordly aesthetic for sure.

Oh man, this makes so much sense to me now. I love this! I've always been on the fence about Luna, design wise. She's been pretty mysterious and interesting but I'm like why a tapir, Nintendo? Duh. Not just a tapir, Emily. My favorite pokemon is Drowzee, so I have no clue how I've never figured this out before!

I can see why people may like her and nothing wrong with liking her :); she does have an interesting design. I personally don’t like her design; I just don’t like a lot of villagers that wear makeup especially lipstick or heavy eyeshadow.
