What do you think about cooking and farming in animal crossing?

Did I say there was anything wrong with it?

My post is simple and easy to understand, and it was my opinion.
Something you just said we all should be able to have...

My opinion is, as I said, I think it will be Franklin.

Whoa! Chill out. No need to have an attitude. You have the right be cynical but I honestly think you’re being extremely rude.

I have literally wanted both of these features since City Folk days. I reeeeeaaalllly hope that both are coming in a fall update!

whatever happens though, I hope it's not just temporary for Franklin.

Excuse me but I wasn't.

Someone was being rather rude to me by not allowing me to post that I think Franklin will be back.
I have no bad attitude at all.

I'm an adult, trying to remember that younger people might not understand that an honest, polite opinion is not an attack.

You however, are being quite rude to me.

Be polite.
It's not hard. :)

You can use ignore, just as I've done.

i think it would be quite fun to see the cooking function to be added into the game. though i feel like making it as an "extra" feature aka not something that is required to do, for example, like imagine how wild it'd be if our rep suddenly have a hunger meter lol. that'd be too much and what i differentiate between extra and a requirement. since i know not everyone will be in favor of it, it's good to have the option for people who won't care about cooking to just ignore the feature without any real consequences to their respective gameplay experience.

on the other hand, as one of the people who do want to see the cooking feature be implemented soon, it makes me happy to know my kitchen will finally have practical use. i have a whole room dedicated to being served as a kitchen so being able to use the gas range/microwave, fridge (please i don't want to change my clothes wtf....) for things that actually make sense aka cooking would be great.

now of course, i'm also skeptical about cooking going hand in hand with the crafting feature. i really don't like how we can't craft in mass amount so i'd imagine it'd also be a pain to cook. please give me the ability to multi-task so i can make multiple food items at once, if anything LOL.

It can sometimes be difficult to judge the tone of posts but there is no need to call anyone out here. Let’s continue to keep things friendly and back on track for all future posts in this thread, please.

I could replace my mum's cushions with actual vegetables!
Farming would be an interesting mechanic to add to Animal Crossing. I love the Harvest Moon/Rune Factory games and it'd be rewarding to see different kinds of plants grow. I could see it being introduced alongside Franklin during the fall and imagine plants would start to wilt if you didn't water them every day.

Cooking is actually one of my favorite things in BOTW. I would be so happy if they included it in this game as well.

As for growing it could be cool and it would be a reason for me to actually go on every day seeing as how flowers don't have to be watered daily anymore.

I like imagining that we can grow pumpkins then craft pumpkin Halloween decorations with them! But yeah I won't get my hopes up, I'll be happy with anything new.

I've always said for years, I wish we could have pumpkin patches. (And sunflowers)

Maybe one day. :)

I am still not sure about it. It might be neat, but if I wanted to play a farming game then I would go play Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley. But, having a little garden and a cooking mechanic (especially if it is a minigame) is very appealing to me.

At this point I’m just so desperate for something new :( the only new thing in ACNH was the terraforming and crafting which I loved but it’s not enough for me to keep me entertained. So a super new mechanic would be so nice and a good change. I’m so bummed no events are planned for September so I think the vegetables might be for the thanksgiving event with Franklin. That you have to give him vegetables and get furniture in return. Hopefully the thanksgiving series will look much cuties without the creepy bird legs lol.

I'm not bothered about cooking but I do like the idea of farming and growing crops, I can't think of anything more perfectly fitting for this type of slow paced day by day gameplay style. Since I first heard rumours of it I've had a plot of land saved to make a farming area.

I would love pumpkins! I have made a little pumpkin patch using hats with a pumpkin design, but it's not really the same...
I'm not sure if they were always there, but I've just noticed pumpkins (seasonal decorations?) in and outside of Nook's Cranny. :)
