I'm sure that everyone has certain aspects of their town that set it apart from others. Which one of these are your favorite? I like learning what other people see in their towns, since it's something that you can become very attached to.

I really like the fact that Fireleaf has 6 ponds, and that they are all different shapes. It makes the layout so much more interesting. It also allows for fireflies to spawn almost everywhere.

The landscaping. It took a while to get it how I wanted, but what I made in the end I was really happy with. :)

I like that I have 5 ponds, and that the river divides the map almost perfectly in half horizontally. And I like that I have one small beach but yet one long beach too. And of course I love having peaches as my town fruit. Mmmm!

My map, I didn't like it at first but I realise now I would have regretted resetting, it's so spacious. My sister reset it for me too! I also really like that I have two beaches and the dock is on the smaller beach, idk why.

I love the shape of my river. It splits my town vertically rather than horizontally, which I don't see often in other people's maps. I also love the way it loops back on itself, creating two little peninsulas that I really enjoyed landscaping. I'm starting to think I prefer landscaping smaller enclosed spaces, because I also have a little strip of land just above where the river begins and that was another easy space for me to plan out.

I love the fact that Moon Bay has lots of ponds, as well as a nice vertical river that splits the town in half pretty evenly. I’ve also created lots of cosy areas around town that I love just sitting in and listening to the music of that hour, it makes for a really relaxing experience <3

I started playing in July, and quickly realised I put down my house in a bad spot. I deleted that town the day after starting it, and then started a new one to make sure my house was in a better spot. I didn't really check for a perfect map layout, or which fruit I had, as I didn't even realise that was a thing that could bother me later. I'm still playing in that town today, and I have loved seeing the (slow) progress I'm making! I'm glad I haven't been resetting from the moment something bothers me, because I have had some weeks where I thought it all looked really bad but now I'm actually quite happy with where I'm at. Even though I still have so much to do! :)

I like the theme I chose---fairytale n girly since it reflects me. :lemon: I also like the idea of a spoopy town but at my core, I adore the girly aesthetic. So my town is truly my happy place away from the ~*~real world~*~

Uuhmm... While reading other's comments... I started wondering if this is just me.

I don't have a specific aspect of my towns that I love. To be honest I haven't thought about it.
I do love each of my towns, so much. Like, you love your family. Or hometown, etc.? Even if, they don't have any specific/special/standing out aspect, you love them 'cause they're yours, your people/your place. To me, it's like that.
By the way I have more than a town. And I feel, like I'm living another life as another person when I'm there as a character in each towns - none of them are the same. ... Can't really explain better uh.

So. I can't tell where or what, of my towns that makes me attached to them. I just love my towns, because they're my towns.

My town name is based off the Game of Thrones series (The books, not the HBO show) So Starfall is a city/town in the Dornish region with a hot climate known for lemons and citrus fruits. So, when choosing a map in the beginning, I recycled maybe a few dozen times trying to get oranges as the town fruit for Starfall. When I finally got a map layout I loved (Private beach, less than 3 ponds, townhall and town square tucked up against train tracks) I was elated. Stepping off the train for the first time and seeing a blue train station roof and circle grass, I was even more elated. I set out not really caring about the lesser wants because I was quite done with resetting for a perfect map and the chances of getting all my wants was just something I let go. My map has EVERYTHING on my wish list for a town map. The villagers weren't very good But I was able to move out who needed to go. I love my map, absolutely perfect for me.

The thing I love about Moriyo is how I set it up. The pathwork works great with ReTail, the Caf?, Police Station, Town Hall & Plaza, which them leads to the bridges in town. They all connect together so well and fluid, there's hardly any awkward zone. Because the pathwork is so well, it makes landscaping really nice also. I also really like some of the villagers I have now, like Sterling and Phoebe. They were both random move ins and at first I was gonna let them go, esp since I already had Phoebe in another town. But when she moved in randomly, that's when I thought about having 'magical' animals in Moriyo. She kinda helped develop Moriyo, so now I have 5 magical/fairytale animals.

How much time and effort i put into it. Its so quaint and cozy And foresty. I especially love it at night with the streetlights. Its a very natural town

The best thing imo about my town is that I managed to make the bottom half (The part seperated away by the river) of my town into a place just full of my perfect cherry trees

I love how my town’s town plaza is right next to the town hall! It adds a nice touch to the events.

There was a river which splits the town in half in Town Kenma. Its a nice touch.

My favourite thing about my town is the closeness of the town hall, plaza and Re-tail. I put the cafe near it too so I have a little downtown area in my town and I love the look of it.

What do I like about my current town map? Well, to simply put it... everything. It's perfect for what I look for in a town layout, except for one minor thing but I can ignore it.

- The only thing about this town map I'm not OK with is the fact my town map isn't 'facing to the left' (cliff on left side instead of right side). I can ignore this, though. Just a very minor preference.

- Literally one of the lowest amount of permanent rocks you can get in a town, which is 7. I think the lowest you can get is 6, I think? The purple dots are my rocks, and as you can see, none of them are in the way. Really convenient.

- Re-Tail isn't very close to my Town Hall and Plaza. I like having the Town Hall and Town Plaza close together with Re-Tail being in it's own area. Re-Tail is also close to the dock.

- I have an area to place my house where it is slightly surrounded by ponds. I love having two ponds close to my house. Makes landscaping really fun.

- Easily one of the best river layouts in the game, in my opinion. Both sides have ample room for landscaping and villager houses.

I could honestly keep going on, but these are the biggest reasons why I love this town map so much. This town map is easily a 10/10 for me, and often town layouts I pick get at best a 6/10. This is a town layout I plan on keeping for a very, very, very long time.
