What do you keep your 3DS in? I'm Looking for a case.

Hey guys,

I have the Animal Crossing 3DS XL and am looking for a good pouch type case for it, and would like to know what you guys keep your consoles in and if you have any links or recommendations for me, because there don't seem to be a huge variety of 3ds cases out there, and 99% of them are really ugly.

Currently I am using a pink glitter armor case shell that goes around my 3ds and then I put it into another case, just a zip up, two pocket purse that I got from a fashion store, which just offeres a bit of added protection to the areas the shell doesn't protect (like the spine).

I want a 3ds specific case, I think, with compartments for some games and stylus's (styli?), that looks pretty and nice and kind of girly, although just nice would be fine too. I saw the Hello Kitty case, and I think that's pretty close to what I'm after, I'm just not a Hello Kitty fan... So do you guys know of anything out there pretty similar, that will go nicely with my 3DS?

I always put mine in the plastic wrap the 3DS XL came in (trying to keep it as dust-free as possible, haha), and then I put it in this case:



It also has a little pouch for cartridges inside it. I recommend this one, I don't know what it's made of, but it has a leather-like feel to it, and it's plushy inside.

I bought this on eBay when I got my XL. I only really use it to stop my DS getting beaten up in my bag when I'm out and about, hence the pen markings on it. From what I can gather, it was handed out as some sort of incentive in Germany, something along those lines. Sort of like the Isabelle and Town Hall figure you got in the UK. Though it might be a fake. Nevertheless, it does the job, and also works as a great effortless duster. No room for cartridges, it's just a sleeve.

I keep mine in a pink AC case that I got form Club Nintendo for 500 points!

It's really cute and soft, and it matches my 3DS XL perfectly!

I use a blue pouch from club Nintendo for my 3ds, but I was looking into cases too. Hori manufactures pretty nice ones and they have good reviews. It's made of mostly TPU and I haven't hears any cases of them melting before. Here's the Canadian Amazon link: link.

I'm sure you could find it on other sites too; Hori is a Japanese company if I understand it correctly.

I specifically had to buy a bigger purse to carry both of my 3DS XL w/ case and my husband's 3DS XL w/ case. >.>

the photos are awful and had to use flash.
Our house is old and was built when people didn't use ceiling lights put floor lamps so there is no like actual light switch in the room I'm in and I'm not going to the other room. XP
But you can pretty well see the photos to get the idea.

Husband's is a hard case made for the 3DS regular/XL ... with the regular you can fit stylus on the side, with the XL it is just perfect fit. Downside is it only holds so many games so some of his has to be put into my case.


Mine, well, it actually is made for the DSi XL but it fits the 3DS XL perfect... and I like plaid... and you can't see in the crappy photo but it has sparkly, shiny, glittery silver in the plaid too.
Mine has a little storage area inside and a little zipper area on the front as well.

I use a Duraflexi Protector/TPU case, and it is great protection against small falls and scratches. The case itself also isn't bulky and gives good grip on your DS.

As for a pouch, I made my own with some worn-out pants. Even integrated the pockets so I can take cartridges with me during travel. Works like a charm.
