Well, my purpose of this thread was to give advice to people who have trouble with their parents. But if you really feel that this is pointless, I suppose I have no choice.

Parents set rules for there kids in school some yes stink but most are for there own good so they grow up to be responsible adults of the future what would you do if it was your son travis? in your place and you in your dads place ?

Okay, clearly you didn't read what I said.

It's not pointless. But it's just not something we need to discuss, either.

A thread of complaints doesn't really define a good, worth-while thread. Plus, I can already see this leading into discussions we wouldn't want to have here.
