What do you do with your town's destructible rock?

I use it for landscaping purposes to make my town hall look nice and pretty! What do you do with it?

I don't care about the ore but I always destroy it asap because it's always in a terrible spot, plus 9 permanent rocks is more than enough lol

I break it each day until it spawns in a place I like.
After that, I leave it for a while as a decoration and break it again later if I decide I want it somewhere else!

I'm lazy and the effort of having to run around and hit every rock because I have an awful memory is time consuming when I can just talk to all my villagers :c

So yeah I usually just leave that and the money rock hanging around.

When I was still bringing in new villagers, I left it alone when it was in an out-of-the-way spot. There's nothing worse than starting to plot reset for someone and finding out the gem rock spawned where you wanted to put them.

Now, I just leave it alone because I don't care about it. I don't even remember where it is right now.

I used to break it for gems until I realized breaking it spawns it in different locations and sometimes I would use that to my advantage to prevent villagers from moving into an area I didn't want anyone to move into. :>

How do you even move it to a location of your choice? Do you just... pick it up or something?

The rock will spawn randomly across the map in any open space if it has room. You can manipulate where it goes if you have tons of flowers/items in your town.

I thought I had it bad with 7 rocks.
I don't mind where any of them are (I worked around them when landscaping) but I get tired of having to hit all of them to find the money rock each day. I do have 3 bushes planted behind each rock so I don't have to dig holes each day for the kick-back.
I always hit the gem rock each day and sell the gems at Re-Tail or I put the silver & gold ores up for sale with Reese. The villagers will pay 9,999 bells for silver or gold.
