At the moment I'm making sure to break them all in hopes for gold ores. I genuinely didn't know about how to make gold furniture until a few days ago when a villager told me (you'd think I'd have googled how to get the gold set, but I never did) so once they told me, I've been on a gold ore hunt. I imagine once I finally get the set I'll just leave the rocks, unless they're in annoying spots.
