What do you do with the top slivers of your map?

in my current town, i haven't really done anything with it because bertha lives there. was considering putting the campsite there but i didn't want the poor camping villagers to like,, camp next to the train tracks ))) i'm deciding on putting up maybe a forest-y area with a hammock or bench + a bunch of flowers or maybe just putting the police station there because i don't know where else to put it but i'm not in a rush.

it's really cool seeing what other people have done with theirs tho it inspires me to be more creative about landscaping!! ^^

I don't pick towns with tiny top slivers like that. I'm pretty particular when it comes to the type of maps I'll use. I need to have a big fat chunk at the top and a big fat chunk at the bottom and occasionally I'll go for a weird peninsula thing in the middle. But otherwise, I'll skip every other map.

My latest town has a sliver like that, and almost at the farthest, most remote point in the sliver, is Tank's house. Just past his house, is the out-of-the-way spot where I bury time capsules.

On the long walk down the sliver from the train station area to Tank's house, I have an apple tree, a pear tree, a cherry tree, and a peach tree. I think it is a really pretty walk that way.

In other towns, I have put a bridge at the end of the sliver but not this time.

I'm making a little campground. I should be able to fit the log bench and geyser into that area.

I put my campground on a top sliver of my map, and I'm planning for the other sliver to make some sort of scenic park area near the cliff overlooking the ocean.
