What do you do with rare mushrooms?

Hi everyone, so I've been finding some rare mushrooms in the ground by some tree stumps with rare patterns on them. So I was wondering what do you usually do with them? Do you just sell them or give them to villagers or anything else?

I have my "famous" mushrooms around a tree by my house as decoration.

I kept some for decoration (like poop decorations XD) but most of the time I just sell them

I keep some as decoration. And I keep some in my storage to sell for TBT! Or eat just for fun

I usually just sell mine at Re-Tail. I keep a few famous and elegant mushrooms around my campsite for decoration, but that's it.

Depends on the type of mushroom and how I'm feeling at the moment. The majority of the time, I'll just pick them up and sell them. Sometimes I'll keep some sitting around the stump for decoration. If it's a Famous Mushroom, I might throw it into storage.

Even though this picture is old, I like to use Rare Mushrooms as rocks for my beach next to the cliffs to add more detail to my landscaping! It surprisingly looks really good with the colors of the cliff.

I just sell them since I haven't figured out an alternative use for them. But with famous mushrooms, I've eaten one at least once to see the effect, even though I mostly just sell those too.

I sneak it in my pocket, drop it off on purpose while visiting someone/anyone, and would tell them "there's a poop!!" if it's about rare mushrooms. If it's about famous ones, I randomly eat it when I have someone next to me. Likely to give one to the person who's there, and suggest to eat it and be bigger together with me!

Mostly sell them, but I may keep a few for decoration outside in certain areas.

I'm keeping as many mushrooms in my town as I can. I like the way they look, especially when everything turns orange. I'm super excited to see Fujimori and Gracey all mushroom'd out in the fall. If I have special mushrooms, I tend to keep them there because I don't like to waste them by eating them. I want to keep them in the towns for the dream suite anyway so dreamers have some fun mushrooms to play with, lol.

I sell the famous and rare, but the round and others I hoard to one day decorate around my town once all of my dreamies have moved in Moriyo. In Treehut I keep a few to make it look like I cook with them, but I sell the others also.

I don't really use them for anything. Maybe I'll find some use for them in my current town but I never have in the past. Therefore I usually just eat them.

I leave it where I found them. It's tempting to sell them valued at 10,000 bells but as its name states, it's pretty rare and I think you could only get them if you have a perfect town rating. Is this true?

I would sell mine. If it was doing something specific in my kitchen, maybe I would use them as decoration.

That is correct and they also have no spawning limits like Jacob's Ladders when there is a certain amount visible in your town (planted or placed)! I have over 40 Rare Mushrooms to decorate my beaches near the cliffs and I still got some to naturally spawn by some of my special stumps.
