I'm starting to get a tad bored with the game, and I am just wondering what others do to keep the game fun. c:

I usually destroy parts of my town so I can landscape/build them in different ways.
I recently deleted one of my side characters so I could make a new one and decorate a new house in a new location.

What are some things you guys do?

I take breaks from playing, pretty long ones I might add. With long ones I mean a couple of months. I also bought a second copy so I can decorate a new town without having to restart, because even thought I say it myself I'm very proud of my main town and I think it turned out gorgeous.

I've been focusing on badges and my catalog, which has kept me interested. But if I get a little bored of my main town, I have two others to screw around in XD

Take breaks. Sometimes months, others just a week. Doing some redecorating or landscaping can eat my day after a break. There's also the never ending badge grind. ;)

In my main town I'm working on getting all badges to gold still, I'm also growing more hybrids in my town to landscape with and on my island. A big part of what keeps me interested and playing still is online play with my friends.

In my second town it's still a wip and I'm sort of stuck for ideas on what to do with it.

Third town is currently a cycle town but I might do something else with it in the future.

I like to bother little kids on club tortimer sometimes. It's funny to see how they react. Usually when I'm really bored of AC, I take a really long hiatus.

I've played it very casually... like a week of playing then big break. This is the first time my mansion isn't a mansion before the year.one is.up lol.

I take the game really slow.

I've had it for over a year now and I still haven't completed my town yet.

During the holiday I sent Player 3 out to play. The villagers were happy to see her.
She plays after the mayor does her checks for the day. Than works on a lot of badges and stays up late playing with the villagers.

Found that I'm having more fun.

I have collected and done pretty much everything possible in this game, yet at the moment I'm still keeping myself interested by overhauling my town. I'm being nitpicky to the point where I've actually moved out dreamies and am now cycling to get them back in with the house placement I want. ;-; So that, along with perfecting my natural paths and bush borders and everything in my town.

Also there's still a few badges I need to work on! c:

Like others have said before me, take a break from playing, return, and check wether I have gained some inspiration for designing a bit of land a certain way.

Then again, I currently still have plenty to do. My town is only finished for 1/3 and I still need about 1/6 of the catalogue items. So that's what mainly keeps me busy.

Another thing I've done, or actually quit doing, is time-travelling. I realized that playing day by day actually makes sales at stores seem like presents, while timetravelling takes all the magic away.

As soon as I'm done getting my gold refurbishing badge I'm going to keep my gates open all the time for outside visitors; it's actually visitting people and having people come over that makes the game feel different every time.

Have fun playing :)

I'm getting bored as well and with finals coming up/me stressing, i've had little time to play so i'm putting my town on hold. It's not close to complete yet so it will definitely be improved as time goes on but it does get boring talking to the same animals/doing the same tasks over and over again so i will probably be taking a hiatus shortly (besides the one i'll be taking this next week). I have been playing for almost 2 months daily since i got the game/my system and that's probably the longest i've played any form of animal crossing without taking a break. This game has so much more in terms of customization and that really is what makes me keep playing. I'm always trying to think of new ideas to try to benefit the town and make it prettier. I just wish my villagers would suggest the PWP's i'm missing so i can add them in. I have 2 permanent PWPs right now, the rest are placeholders for nicer versions of the same PWP that you get later or the flower clock location is being covered by a fountain. I also have around 50 hours in this town and reset my old town on Dec 31 like 10 minutes before Jan 1st because i got sick of the layout. I really hope the same thing doesn't happen here.

I can't wait until summer though to see my town in green grass (all i've seen is snow/red grass in the fall) and really work on nabbing some new bugs since there's hardly any now, the game seems to really slow down in the winter but hopefully the summer months will draw you back into the game C:

I decorate my whole town and houses. I stay on the game for hours just decorating rooms or trying to figure out how to landscape an area. I also play on my other characters and do the same thing with the rooms of their houses. LOL I take the game day by day because I don't TT. I find that TT daily gets me bored. :P

When I get a bit bored, I work on landscaping or post Blogs. Blogs are nice because you get to let others know how you feel and they can give you their own feedback to help encourage and improve your town! c:

It took me awhile before I got bored because I spent so much time decorating other character houses, getting every gold badge ( except streetpass ), finishing the museum, and getting every item in my catalog.

When I had finished with that, I would make some cool rooms in my museum. Sometimes I would harmlessly pick on the island kids at ct.

Then when I didn't have much else to do, I bought another copy, then another, then another, then another.

I just started playing again after a pretty long break- about 4-5 months. Now I'm focusing on getting more badges and filling up my catalog & museum collection. And landscaping.. So much to do now xD

So yeah like many others said, maybe taking a break (a short one, not necessarily a long one like I had lol) might help..

Now I'm stuck in summer tho cuz I didn't wanna lose any of my villagers .__. Oh well xD

I took a long break and Im playing because Im helping my friend and got tired of Pokemon

I decided to reset my first town which was a big tragedy.
Now I'm just placing temporary PWPs to block villagers from moving there. So many yellow benches XD

Second town is put on a small hiatus
