What do you all do for your birthdays?

i usually get surprised in the morning with a small present (like something my little brother made), then after school/in the afternoon some family members come over for dinner. i usually get clothes but my parents give me something involving whatever new obsession i have.

I invite my family members over to my birthday, nothing really happens on my birthday nowadays, except swimming, money and cake. Back then, birthday parties were important for me and my family members. Now its just a tiny celebration and its over. Much like every old person, ever. I'll be turning 18 next month, but my life can't begin yet. I still got 12th grade to finish when I'm 18.

I usually go out and do things with my family. Normally we go to see a movie and then out to eat, and have a cake at home. My birthday is actually tomorrow haha, I plan on seeing Finding Dory and then going out to Red Lobster (how ironic)

Lol, and speaking of seeing movies on birthdays, I plan to see Ice Age directly on my birthday, because a movie releasing on my birthday = A MUST WATCH! No matter how stupid people say it is, i'm still gonna see it.
The last time I saw a movie on my birthday was in 2013. I saw Turbo, and it was worth it. This year might be the next.

This year I got back from a drama-filled school trip, so my parents (and my sister) were kind enough to let me sleep and relax

Nothing anymore, really. Used to have birthday parties when i was younger. But now, in my 30's, i don't really do anything. Always have a birthday cake though. Not birthday without birthday cake hehehe.

My birthday is in summer when everybody else is on vacation, so apart dining with my family we never have done anything else. Now that I'm older, I don't celebrate it anymore, but last year or the year before, I spent the day riding my bicycle in the woods, taking photos and relaxing, so maybe doing some kind of sport together and sightseeing would be a nice idea, then having a picnic in a nice place.
