What do I need for a mine/treasure basement?

I've decided to turn my basement into a treasure mine for lack of better ideas that fit my house-inside-a-tree theme. I plan to have one of each ore next to a corresponding rupee, some unassessed fossils, toss in a shovel, and the box with helmet from Resetti's rv once I can get it. But I feel like I need something else and I'm not sure what. Anything else that fits?

Lol I don't know how they do things down under, Jonny boy, but I'm fairly certain that here in the States jackhammers aren't allowed for mining use

We don't use them underground.

Just the only ACNL tool I could think of, that deals with digging/breaking ground.

How about a bucket.

Edit. Apparently they are used for mining sometimes.

Hydraulic jackhammers are often used for underground mining where pneumatic tools are less suitable.

Haven't quite learned how to post a screenshot and don't want to take a pic with my phone, but so far I've got a dig site floor set up, all rupee variations and a few ores and unassesed fossils spread out on the floor
