What did you get for Christmas?

I always love hearing what our community recieves.

I received my main gift early. Money for a Switch 2 and Mario Kart World a couple of months ago.

I didn't expect any gifts today because that's way over the budget my parents usually spend. But they also gave me a new dressing gown.

I actually brought the Switch 2 to my parents house for the holidays. My dad and I played MK World and Mario Party Jambouree. My mum isn't a gamer but she was invested watching us.

I had a nice Christmas! This year I received:

- Lava Lamp (orange!)
- Two cookbooks that I've been wanting forever (both by RecipeTin Eats' Nagi Maehashi)
- A really nice zip up binder for Pokémon cards (pink!!)
- Some Labubu figurines because I am a Labubu enjoyer (I turned two of them into magnets)
- a Pin for Love Labubu keychain that I bought myself (my husband and I exchanged one gift like a week early haha)
- A music box cookie tin thing (i think the cookies are expired but the tin is very cool)
- Some Ferrero Rochers
- Some money
- And fantastic art of my character in this years TBT secret santa art trade! Thank you secret santa!!!
- Forgot to mention, my husbands' best friend gave both of us a dice advent calendar.. which arrived on Christmas Eve but it was fun opening 24 doors in one sitting all the dice are super cool!

I was spoiled by my wife and family with a number of gifts. I got a watch, a new sweater, a fantasy novel, a new drum throne, some guitar strap, new set of d&d dice, and many other bits and bobs! I feel truly blessed and had a great Christmas.

From my sister I got a charging dock color changing lamp/clock that also can be connected to Bluetooth and play audio
I got a hat and scarf from her. A deck of lilo and stitch playing cards.

From my neighbor I got a set of squishmallows, and a box of tea and she also gave me catnip for my cats

And also randomly my sister gave me her Xbox One since my old one got broken and now I have access to all my games again through my Microsoft account, plus the games she gave me that she already owned , including red dead redemption 2! I’m so excited!!

- Me and my mum got matching pjamas from family friends, and cookies
- My mum got me stranger things pjamas and bubble tea set.
- As well as some nice warm socks, and bath set
- Got Shadow Labyrinth switch game
- My friend and her mum gave me some money in their christmas card, and two christmas cushions

For my mum

- I got her these slip on trainers she wanted
- My mum loves Austin Butlers, so I found her a calender full of pics of him
- A teacup and saucer set
- Tree of life necklace
- My sister got her some electric candles she wanted, and a board game: who wants to be a millionaire
- Got her a few books as well

I don't celebrate Christmas, but I'd say the art in my current signature would be my Christmas presents! I feel very lucky to have art drawn for me!

A pan! I didn't plan to ask one for Christmas, but my mom threw away half of our pans without asking, including one of my favorite, perfect for chili, and had no intention to replace them, so when she asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I asked for a similar pan, she didn't want to at first, no sure why because it wasn't expensive, but still bought it. Yay!

I also got lip balm, snacks, pear liquor
And an egg cooker

I mostly got chocolates and sweets, like Toblerone, kopiko, various flavours of mochi (mango, chocolate, matcha), some fancy Peruvian chocolate, those praline seashells, and a dairy milk bar

I got a few different knock-off lego sets too! Two plant/flower legos and a small pikachu

I got a pack of ten pokemon cards and while I don't play, they're very cool design

A very long hot water bottle (it's literally the length of my leg ), a notebook, a hobby knife set (for art), metallic highlighters, and a set of coloured fineliners

Various Christmas clothes; two long sleeve tops, grey tartan pj trousers, a reindeer hat with those ears that flop up and down when you squeeze the paws, and thick socks

I was going to get a tenon saw because the one I have currently is pretty dull, but I was already so spoiled that I felt bad asking lol. My dad did sharpen the chisels though, so they're really easy to use again! :^D
