What did you do with leftover fossils?

I buried them on the beach next to my pirate treasure area. I would have kept digging if Re-Tail was available so I could have miniature models.
 
Welp haha. I've been digging them up, getting them assessed, and then selling them as part of my daily "chores" but man I can't believe it never occurred to me to just bury all of them along the back of a cliff or something?? I might have to do that and cut it out of my daily routine...
 
I dig them up if I see them on my way while I'm going somewhere, since I still have a few fossils left to finish my collection. But otherwise I kept a few small ones like amber to use as decorations, and sold the rest of them for IGB in case I want to move my bridges etc in the future.
 
Save up a bunch of them, get them ID'd at same time...then sell...once or twice a week.

It's a shame that most of them aren't really worth that much.
 
i buried all 6 fossils behind cliffs so i don't have to deal with them. i have no need for them after finishing my museum
