What did u do with your dock

I am so mad that I got the shorter dock. I don't understand why they'd make two different sizes that you cannot change? Maybe one day we'll be able to change it

I also have a small dock but trust me, you get used to it

Anyway let's not do that again!

Mine is still undecorated but I did find out that the very end of the dock is a great spot to hide presents on your friends' islands, I did that to someone and it took them two weeks before they went onto the dock and saw it there

I have the long dock but didn’t do anything to it because I like to be able to move around when I fish. I don’t wanna scare them off maneuvering over stuff.

I put a couple of tourist telescopes on it and use it to watch meteor showers. I'm still hoping kapp'n will show up there some day, and give us boat rides to Tortimers island (and more multiplayer options.)

I put a green toolbox to serve as a bait box since it's a little smaller than the fishing tourney cooler you can get and the fishing rod stand you get from the fishing tourney. It's pretty simple but adds a nice touch. I had a bench out there before I switched it to this.

My reaction exactly. Now I feel the need to see how my dock measures up.

I like the idea of putting the fishing tourney items there, but then I think it would get in the way of...actually fishing...

I put two white streetlamps in between a garden bench, with the fishing rod stand customised to white beside the first streetlamp. Gives it a nautical feeling, plus I still have space to fish.

There's two tiki torches in front of it. I'm thinking later on I want to create a design of blood and scratches on it.

i don't really like to have anything on there, i use it for fishing and that's it. plus i'd hate to have to remove anything if kapp'n does come back.

I have a squid drying rack, a cooler, and a fishing pole on/ around the dock. It looks like a neat fishers man spot

I plan on putting fishing related items near the entrance but nothing on the dock itself cause its too narrow for that, and most of my beach is pretty bare anyway

I've seen some really cute decorated docks on Instagram but I think it would ask just get in the way when fishing - anyone with cute benches etc find this? Or is it fine?

I've kept it a classic fishing spot with some of the items from the fishing tourney. I'm somewhat tempted to make a 'No Diving' sign for my dock too.

I haven't even realized all the possibilities.
I have the wooden shop sign with the "Jaws" custom sign on it and a bucket with one of the water bugs you can catch in the Northern Hemisphere now. I think it's a nice touch.
I can't really put anything else there without preventing myself from fishing.

I put CJ cooler and fishing rod rack on it. I don't want to put too much on it because Kappn will come eventually and plus I use it to catch the pier fish so I need enough room to cast

I'm still hoping to get an anchor soon. I've only got barrels on it atm but I hope to include fishing rods on it along with fake or real paintings.

I wasn't going to put anything on mine but I didn't realize you could put a pattern on it... I like the idea someone had of putting sparkles on it.
I did plan on putting fishing stuff near it though.
Now, only if I had room on my customization app for another design :/
