I put the stuff from the fishing (drying rack and rod stand) tourney on there.

Ditto! For me it was either putting them on the dock or leaving it in storage, lol.

since I already have a small fishing area on some nearby rocks I might put some down some lanterns and an armchair + some books and drinks to make it a comfy sitting area!

I've seen some really cute decorated docks on Instagram but I think it would ask just get in the way when fishing - anyone with cute benches etc find this? Or is it fine?

I put that little memorial looking stone (not the grave one but the tall one, don't remember the name) and a fishing rod as a memorial to those 'lost at sea'

Honestly, decorating my dock hadn't even crossed my mind. I'll probably end up using the fishing tourney stuff like everyone else haha. Or I might just leave it empty.

Not sure what the best hashtags are but I scrolled through #acnhdesigns for a bit and looked at some accounts like @crossingconstruction that repost other people's pictures. I didn't save any dock pics, haha.

im not sure what im going to do with it yet. my plan is to make the area around it a "fishermen's village" but my only hesitation is if it is given a purpose in a future update, like the secret beach & Redd. what if what ever it becomes doesn't fit my fishermen's theme, or what if it inspires me to completely redo the area? :0

Because my dumb self missed the fishing tourney I just have a small green cooler and a blue life ring on it. I didn't know there were long and short variations of it, Idk which one mine is but I suspect long lol. Oh and I've now moved my sea bass model to one side of it. Thought it a fitting decoration.

Mine is nothing special. I just have 3 items on there. A fishing rod stand and fish drying rack from the the tourney. Then a life ring. Then just a few steps away by the shore is a single stall with coolers.
