What could they have done better?

Hello! I'm just trying to find all of your guys' opinions on this. What do you think developers could have done to improve this game? I think the player should have had at least SOME say where villagers moved. What do you guys think?

I totally agree with you! Like Nook asking you where would be a good place for a new neighbour that wants to move in. You are the mayor after all!
More flowers would have been also nice. There were some from previous games they could have added.
And for me, it's pretty annoying you can't leave anything in tiled soil. I lost fruits and items this way, disappearing forever!

I would've liked more variety in trees. Trees don't all look exactly the same and just have different fruits growing on them. And I agree that we should get a say in where villagers get to move in! Also, character customization would be nice, a more in-depth customization, i.e, height, weight, skin color, eye shape, nose, etc etc.

Getting a say in where villagers move in is a definite must. I hate going out of my house and then seeing a new plot for a house right outside or right where I want to place something. Its so annoying and frustrating.

One thing I thought they should have is the ability to build something on the beach, nothing big but something like a small bench against the cliff or a bridge to cross those gaps with the waterfall.

I wish that balloons still gave your random items. It is so boring only getting Balloon Series items from them or Silver Slingshots. I miss the mystery. Also, it would give more meaning to obtaining the Balloon Series I feel.

I like the fact villagers move to random places as a sign of republicanism of my town.

And I think grass deteriorate too fast... and recovery is so slow!

Better control about villager movement, more storage, less unorderable items, ways to maintain grass wear, more villager dialogue, more PWPs.

A second pocket for tools would be nice, and I actually wish the sous track wasn't as bouncy. I like the wild world soundtrack, which was more mellow and relaxing. The opening theme is my favourite, it gives me chills. They rehash the new leaf team too much.

More variety in hybrid flower colours. I know they try to stick to realistic colours, but some unorthodox colours for some of the existing flowers would have been great. Who wouldn't want to see lets say a blue carnation or a Purple Cosmos?

This is a really minor complaint, but I wish there were longer hairstyles. Either that or let ponytails show through the baseball caps ^^

I agree. I really like the ponytail look but I can't wear hats because it looks weird.

What I want is that when you are looking for a map, in the train with Rover, that you can see which villagers are living in that town. So, if you find a great map and you're curious which villagers are living in that town, you can touch the houses on the map to see who lives where. I think it's handy. And I want a coat, when you go outside you canput your coat on in the winter. Villagers need scarves, gloves, and coats too in the winter!

I think the fact that you can change your skin color in game but only temporarily and only during the summer is pretty ridiculous. Every game with human player characters should have multiple permanent skin color options

Have more options for bushes and trees like birch and willow trees and bushes that dont just look like a leafy ball

Make PWPs easier to place or just stop Isabelle from doing that annoying '2 spaces back' speech every single time, as well as the Nooklings wrapping paper speech

More terraforming options, like being able to add another beach ramp or make hills, terraces, waterfalls, etc

A gazebo PWP, why do we have a rack of rice as a PWP but not a gazebo

A way to either make a villager a permanent resident or at least some way to make them ask to leave extremely rare
