What can replace stuff on the ground

So if I leave something on the ground, what can potentially spawn that could wipe it out?

Now I already know about Redd, Katrina, etc. in the main plaza, and I know if a new villager moves in it will also replace, but trying to think of others.

For example, will Gulliver remove items to spawn? during easter will rocks remove items?

So really, do items on the ground count as trees, flowers, patterns, etc and therefore prevent event spawns (outside of those listed above)?

I am getting paranoid of leaving stuff out, but I am also running out of room and still trying to decide/file away.

As far as I know, ore rocks or Bunny Day rocks will never appear where one of your items is. I don't think Gulliver can make any of your items disappear either. I think he lays on top of the spaces on the beach where you can only put shells anyway. If you are paranoid about losing stuff, put it around houses, buildings, PWPs, next to the cliff, on the beach, etc. where houses can't plot.

gulliver can appear anywhere on the beach, he won't crush anything but he'll stop seashells appearing beneath him.

the bunny day rocks will go in spaces where the ore rock can appear - without anything in etc

Like they said, rocks never spawn where an item is. If you have a police station stuff might end up in there. I wouldnt leave anything in the fenced in PWP either cause i think that's a "garbage" pick up. I don't think villagers will even touch your things unless you have a police station (lost and found)
