I have been pretty inactive on the forums and acnl in general. I forgotten what I enjoyed about the game. So.. What I ask is what should I do on my game? (Tbh, I have 999,999 bells in my bank so money isn't a problem) thanks, mayor James.

You can interact with your villagers and even get new ones if you think that would be fun. Do you have all the badges? Have you unlocked all the shops? Is your museum complete? Have you finished cataloguing everything? You can also try to decorate your town to make it look the way you want it to or change its current decoration.

i just like playing, hoping something funny might happen, i'm not that big of a hardcore gamer. just a casual one.
I just enjoy playing with other people to be honest, but no one ever joins my town.

Personally when I had this kind of problem I just took a nice long hiatus. The day I decided to start my hiatus I just turned down a villager's request to move to make sure nobody important left my town while I was gone and took a break for about five months. I came back into it with the most enthusiasm I've had since I first got the game. Sometimes a game that makes you play almost every day and makes a big deal if you don't can start feeling like a chore and burn you out on it pretty fast and you gotta take a step back and play other games for a bit to refresh yourself. This might just be me though, do what you think is best.

if money isnt a concern, you can just complete your town. landscaping, villagers, shops, catalog, museum. you can just relax in the game and do whatever, like talk with your villagers or redecorate your house.

I'd just recommend getting new villagers. That's a nice change. Also remove all plants and restart fres.
