What can I do? (starting anew)

First post! Hi, I'm Aly! Not sure what the proper prefix for this would be...
I want to demolish and rebuild my town. My problem is, I already have three of my dream villagers and I don't want to give them up! What should I do?

I have 9 in my town, 3 are ones I love (Winnie, Simon, and Frobert)
I also have Angus, Kitt, Phil, Pashima, Mott, and Del.

Of course I also have furniture and plants that I would like to hang on to. How can I acheive this?

Hey, sorry to say, but this post should be posted on the "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" forum. Just telling you!
But to answer your question, you could ask people to hold them for you, or you can let them go and get them again from this forum in your new town.

Furniture and plants you could see about asking somebody to hold onto in the Train Station, I think there's plenty of nice people who would be interested in helping you out in that front. Villagers much like Elin said could possibly be held by others via cycling, but I'm not sure how long you want to wait on starting anew.
