In anticipation of the release of the update/dlc, what questions or uncertainties do you have about the upcoming features? The trailer was full of info, but there's some things we still don't know. I'm sure we'll get lots of new info after it drops, but just curious what people are most wondering about.

For me, what I most want to know is if we'll be able to change our villager's house exteriors? I'm hoping we can, but it's not clear yet.

I would be very surprised if we could. They are going to eventually allow us to redesign the interiors, and that's huge.

I am sure we wont get everything on the moment it launch 🤣 nintendo definitely gonna make us go thru the trouble to maybe gather more material to build the new marketplace, maybe earn kapp' respect or wait for a day later only he will be there in the boat, as well as the rest of the upgrade definitely gonna need to pay and wait for the next day but anyway I am still super hype over it!

Does anyone know what time it *actually drops*? Like, midnight in each country respectfully, or does it release at the same time worldwide like the *other* updates, like 9 AM Japan/9 pm EST? I assume the DLC isn't available to access until midnight, but...

Since I don't really expect many if any new features that weren't mentioned in the Direct, I'll stick with furniture concerns:

Is my beloved harpsichord back? Please!!!! (I'd love more than anything to see new woodwind/brass instruments added as well, but I'm not holding my breath for that =( )

The Ancient Greek columns, is there a color variation without the vines?

I want to know if we can change the villager house exteriors. It’s ok if it’s just the interiors we could change, and I understand if we never get to change the exteriors. If it’s added, it will be a very big pleasant surprise!

also I’m wondering if the added storage options, and the added representative house exterior costumazation options are dependent on having a house fully upgraded. I currently just have 5 rooms in my houses and I want to keep it that way. I was super disappointed when I couldn’t add the extra storage now because it is dependent on fully upgrading. I hope the update is different. I like tiny houses.

WHY IS THE COCONUT TREE ON THE GRASS???

No but seriously, I'd like to know if we can customize the exterior of our villager's homes. Like, can I give them the same mega-millions mansion that I have, or are they stuck with the simple square shape design. It'd be nice if we can customize it since some villagers have similar houses. For instance, I had Marshal on my island and he was neighbors with Julian. Their exteriors are virtually identical, save for I think the door color. I hope we can make them all unique-looking.

Also, will there be more fruit trees in the update? Will Kapp'n sail us to an island that has new fruit? We've already got a new bush type, special glowy mushroom thingies, vines, and more veggies. Now what about the fruit?

whether we can work for brewster, whether there are un mentioned mini games in capp'n's islands, whether there new fruit that they didn't mention.

From what I know, it will release 10 AM Japan's time, and it will drop exactly that time worldwide even if it's still Nov 4th in your time zone.

EDIT: I've seen this on reddit:

I’m wondering how the morning aerobics thing will work on the switch lite and in handheld mode on the regular switch. I can’t play docked because it makes me dizzy so I hope I’ll still be able to participate in it.
I think we'll be able to participate in it no matter with control scheme we're using. One thing nintendo has been doing with the Switch is to not force exclusive motion controls in their games (there's some exceptions, but most of the time, they offer an option).

So, my timezone being GMT-3 (I think it's the same time zone as US East Coast - it's 12:29PM right now), it will drop Thursday, 10PM

If we're going to be able to hunt for the new villagers of they're going to be Amiibo Card exclusive.

I would like to know how the Roost will unlock. I still feel that the museum will need to go down for a day to upgrade, just like the previous museum upgrades, but many commenters have suggested we will stroll right in to the Roost on Day One.

Even Redd and Sable had mini-game unlocks, so I just don’t see us seeing the Roost for at least a day after launch.

Are the new villagers actually being added to mystery tour rosters?

If you let one of your villagers to Happy Home Paradise, are you able to let them move out AND keep their vacation house in the Paradise Archipelago and will they know you or reset like if they moved out?

I'm wondering if there is a shop upgrade they didn't reveal. I'm not expecting it, but one of the Nintendo leakers who has been right on the other features they were working on had said the developers were working on a shop upgrade, so I still think it's possible, if unlikely.

I'm mostly wondering if we can pay for every Harv's Island RV Shop at once, or if it only one at a time. But this is a pretty miniscule detail to me, mostly just a curiosity.

I'd also be lying if I wasn't curious of a secret Nook's Cranny upgrade, like @Etown20 mentioned. It was in the datamined update(s) in the first year of release when they found cooking, etc.
