What browser do you use and why?

Chrome, just because of speed and I don't need the customization that Firefox offers. Chrome's a botnet, but I'm not doing anything illegal so it's not like I really care. Also, I have Nightly and Opera, but I very very rarely use them anymore.

Honestly in terms of functionality Chrome is the best browser (if it works for you lel). It has so much built in and all your google stuff connects etc. It's also the fastest. I also like Safari and Firefox, but neither of them really offer anything that would make me switch.

Chrome because I think it's the fastest and it doesn't have the weird toolbar add-ons like ie or firefox does

I use Firefox. While Google Chrome is great, Firefox has always been more reliable for me in terms of stability & customization.

Used to be Mozilla, but it seems to be a lot more bloated and slow now. I still use it from time to time though when Chrome decides to get wonky on me :p. My main is usually Chrome, since it seems to load and work pretty well.

Chrome on my PC, like the design the most, the downloads management, the favorites bar, easy themes, but I don't like the most visited page because it is so inaccurate, you visit one site one time and it permanently sits there, while one site you visit all the time will be in like the 5th spot if you are super lucky. So annoying.

I use chrome on my galaxy s4, but I hate the mobile version of chrome, although it still is among the better browsers I have bothered to use on Android. Safari on my iPad, it's the cleanest, default, etc. Plus with iOS 8 it will be even nicer with that pretty tab view seen on the iPhone with iOS 7 and a receding upper section, with the search bar, etc. Again, like on iPhone.

Firefox is definitely the safest option. Chrome is actually, last I checked, less secure than even Safari. Only one worse was Internet Explorer.

Google Chrome, though I used to use Firefox extensively long ago. If Chrome ever acts up I just use Firefox.

I use Google Chrome because I like the custom options and gmail+drive is pretty much my life when it comes to work and university, so I like it to be all synced up.

What about you?

I think unless the unthinkable happens I will always use firefox. It's safe, user friendly, and has good company values. When they found out the CEO was a homophobe, they booted him ASAP. They know what they are about.

As far as chrome goes, I have it but I don't like it. It's really clunky to me compared to what I'm used to.

Does anyone actually use Internet Explorer? I had to use it the other day on a public computer (I didn't feel like buying ink for my printer) and I thought I was going to die at how slow it was. Plus, I was being charged per minute :(

I use Opera (not the updated one, that one's ew). Sad thing is that not a lot of updates for certain sites reach Opera as fast as the other browsers.

When that happens I use Firefox :P

A lot of programs force you to use it.

I use Firefox primarily, because the setup is much more comfortable in my opinion, and its customizable. I occasionally use chrome because Firefox does have alot of issues at times, and chrome has more features that firefox can't view. I wish I could say I like chrome better but I never could get used to the placement of the settings, bookmarks, etc. I like how both are customizable though ^^ I think chrome is a bit faster too.

Yea and that's a little bit annoying -_-. IE is basically a last resort browser for me.

@ xiounu: I use FF every so often, due to Chrome not letting me click on some things... mainly on store advertisements. Wal-Mart and that sort of thing.
